Serena Williams dropped it like it was hot on Saturday, celebrating her first singles gold medal by performing an impromptu crip walk, a short dance move popularized by gang members in her hometown of Compton. The dance was just a dance, a nice homage to Serena's hometown. I seen the match and she straight up killed that other girl. I also seen her do the crip walk afterwards and expected someone to bellyache over it.
She was happy and broke out in a dance she probably has done a thousand times. There were other athletes dancing when they won gold. How come no one is talking about that?
