    Peace and Blessings Family,

I was watching the Frank Lucas biography on American Gangsters, and he talked about his cousin being killed by white men for "reckless eyeballing."

I looked the term up, and it is real, punishable by the courts of this country in times past, and still used according to the information below:

"Reckless Eyeballing" is a concept familiar to most Americans. It is most infamous for its use by the pre-civil rights courts to punish and imprison black men for looking at white women. However, it is still used for any form aggressive or inappropriate gaze, especially when a person without power dares to look a person with power directly in the eye. American prisoners are frequently thrown into solitary confinement for staring their guards in the eye, and prostitutes are in danger any time they look a pimp in the eye.

    peace

It's still on the record books, just under different names....

This is why most cops get so mad when they stare at you and you don't move, or they can sense that you are not scared of them and they make those eyes and you think to yourself "this ******* is thinking about how to get away with killing me".....I've seen that look many times in different situations and recognized it because i was making the same eyes!

The main reason most incidents between blacks and police escalate is simply due to the perceived look in our eyes.

"disorderly thinking" is an extension of "wreckless eyeballing"....& you know they are too dumb to know what they are thinking, let alone anyone esle!

I remember 2 cops came to isssue me a court summons and threatened to arrest me if i didn't show up for the court date and i was like HUH?? First of all, it was my car at the time that had been stolen & recovered the next day with the thief in it smoking crack and the court appearance date on their little summons was 2 weeks prior! ......all they did was say "oh" and looked at each other like dumb & dumber and walked backed to their squad car...

They definately could have charged me with wreckless eyballing that day....

Yes, "Reckless Eyeballing" is, essentially, the Jim Crow Law that led to the murder of Emmett Till in 1955.

Any time a Black male looked directly in a white man's or white woman's eyes....or any other behavior PERCEIVED as "disrespectful" and "forgetting your PLACE" was deemed punishable by beating and/or death.
