Noticed the parts I sized and made obvious. You just said in your own words what thread hijacking is. However, notice you didn't mention that there was a polite way to do it, although there are no rules to prevent it from getting out of hand, or keeping it at a minimum. I don't see that how it is now that "thread hijacking can now become an issue just because I am using it to demonstrate something positive, in this thread. "Thread hijacking" was not enough of an issue to make a rule not to do, when important issues were at risk. I must be missing something, are all threads not equally important? Just a question that might help me understand a thought.

You have the last word when and if it comes to that. In hindsight, like Christopher Columbus being the "so called" first to discover America, This thread had been hijacked long before I came on the scene. I am just a contributing factor.

I love Destee.com and people hijacking my threads, or other peoples thread won't stop me from coming here :flowers:

Sister ... i've also not mentioned the polite way to say hello, goodbye, how are you, etc. These are things most of us learn as children. While hijacking a thread may not be on the "learned as a child" list, everyone here (for the most part) is grown, and able to discern for themselves the proper and polite way of doing things.

It would add a gazillion hours to an already trying schedule, to make sure i trained everyone, on all things polite. I'm hoping, believing, that the majority of us already know how to do things politely. I even have evidence of it, as hijacking threads has not been used as a tactic to the degree that we've had to make a rule for it.

The fact that you stated you are blatantly hijacking a thread ... intentionally being impolite ... does cause me some concern ... for if you are willing to so blatantly do such a thing ... knowing it is not the best thing to do ... makes me think others will soon follow your glaring example ... making what has never been a real problem for us, one.

It has nothing to do with the content of the threads, and everything to do with how the majority acts.

You are a part of that majority Sister, and it would be my hope that your behavior would exemplify the right, proper, and polite way to do things ... even though i've not specifically told you what those ways are.

I do not seek to diminish your charactor or integrity, but certain actions by one who always claims to want to "keep the peace" or do the "proper" thing makes you look small You depsise being challenged on any level, but life is not that way. we are all challenged in some mannr or another. You seem to take pride in tryin to "mother" or "boss" arong particularly brothers. We have talked about this before. I dont know where it coms from but it is very unflattering to say the least.:SuN041:
