Black History Month is six months away, but why wait to tell Our Story. I believe there's more to Black history than slavery, civil rights and who was the first Black to do this or that. Starting in September (now) you can read Our Story, a series of articles showing how we have contributed in different areas. Thus when Black History Month proper arrives, we will know we have a lot to celebrate.

This month's article is about African Americans in literature and introduces the reader to the luminaries of the Harlem Renaissance.
