    I like the humble heavier girl with her clothes and dignity still on better than the street walker on the right.. If their is some connection between losing weight and dressing like a hooker, then I'd say it's a lose/lose proposition for black folks. I hope there is some healthy inbetween option..

    It's up to the women if they want to be plump or skinny. As long as they are exercising, eatting the right foods, and drinking water they'd be able to control their weight.

    Obesity is a worldwide problem. Here in Barbados we have a serious problem with obesity. I believe that the fast food outlets have contributed to this. Many black families tend to eat lots of fried chicken and foods that are not nutritious. I believe that if we as a people begin to seriously check what we eat, we can beat this serious problem. What I have found is that many black families have moved away from cooking their meals.
