#1 UNC open there season on the USS CARRIER in fashion

    A Night To Remember

UNC won, but during the unforgettable Carrier Classic, the score was almost a footnote

Mike Krzyzewski ties Bobby Knight for most career Division I men's wins 902

Mike Krzyzewski hustled off the court, just as he has done so many times during three-plus decades at Duke.
The Hall of Fame coach tried to turn this one into just another victory, and it didn't work.
This time, Coach K caught his college coach on the career wins list.
Krzyzewski tied Bob Knight atop the Division I men's victories list with his 902nd victory in No. 6 Duke's 96-55 rout against Presbyterian on Saturday.

Senior-loaded Cleveland State stuns No. 7 Vanderbilt

Gary Waters wanted to test his Cleveland State team right at the start of the season to see how much they would miss Norris Cole.

Turns out, the Vikings are just fine without him.

D'Aundray Brown had 18 points, eight rebounds and seven steals as Cleveland State opened Sunday by upsetting No. 7 Vanderbilt 71-58 in a regional game of the Legends Classic.

    A Maui Masterpiece

Memorable 3s and a trio of unlikely Blue Devils highlighted Duke's classic Maui title win over Kansas

Tyler Thornton's late 3-pointer lifts Duke to Maui Invitational title

LAHAINA, Hawaii -- The lead was two, shot clock winding down. Seemingly every Kansas player in his face, Tyler Thornton let a 3-pointer fly. Barely able to see the rim through the sea of arms in front of him, Thornton knocked it down, keeping Duke on the throne as the kings of Maui.,Thornton capped a thrilling game between basketball behemoths, hitting an off-balance 3-pointer with 20 seconds left to give the sixth-ranked Blue Devils enough cushion to finish off a 68-61 win over No. 14 Kansas for its fifth Maui Invitational title. Duke 7-0
