Kanye's one of the most innovative producers out there. His techniques and knowledge of past black r n b artists is amazing. He pays royalties to those artists, and revives their music. Look at the whole Ray Charles period. Millions of young kids were exposed, due to the movie and his song. Just another case of the media focusing on a black artist, meanwhile white metal/rock artists commit the same acts, some even worse. He hasnt shown up high on crack, or drunk fighting in clubs, getting arrested. Whether he's gay, well that aint none of my business. Sure he got some issues. But anyone's issues would be magnified by a hungry media following you everywhere, documenting every movement, recording every word. Some just hate hip hop.
So never mind the darkie like character screwing what looks like a white female angel on his cd cover?!?
No different than some 70's soul album covers...you'd see the same things.. hell, its a CD cover...not like it comes with a gun and crack.
Fool me once: Shame on you... Fool me twice: Shame on me! So, please, no double standards, as in--one for us who berate white racists who plague us with the same sort of b. s., another for those negro entertainers ad naseum, who merely see us as a means to their ends, too...
