OK, I was raised by my mother that had to raise 7 children, I was the youngest. She was rarely around but made her presence felt, nuff said on that. I was left to my own devices beyond my moms, so I was a youngster when "gangtsa rap" was en vogue, I lived in ghettos and/or impoverished neighborhoods when I was a youngster, I seen Superfly plenty of times... so.... ?
That was you. Can the same be said about your friends, neighbors and extended family? The current wave now and back then didnt just happen. There were plenty of mothers to it. But there was a trigger. Things didnt happen in your or my vacuum. I wasnt effected by Superfly. I saw many imitate that movie, immediately! In fact, I dare say, many classmates are in graves now, thinking they could 'stick it to the man!' Many more lives ruined. ..
So you blame Superfly straight out? I do not claim everyone is on my level, not many are, but I give people more credit than following a motion picture as truth.
So delve deeper into this, you stated it was a "trigger", yet tried tried to debate me as if it was something more. Please explain with clarity please? Triggers have to be pulled and they are not pulled by all.
