Here we are again.. The news that a prominent homosexual man and gay rights advocate was caught with kiddie-porn demands a new round of discussion about the link between Male homosexuality and Pedophilia. Although any mention of a link is usually shot down as homophobic.. the question still remains. Is there a link between male homosexuality and Pedophilia? The Catholic churches scandal was blamed on the church.. but the fact that the victims were young boys would seem to indicate that Pedophilia and Male Homosexuality are somehow connected. Larry Brinkin has his own week, "Larry Brinkin Week" in SF.. He was considered a leader in the LGBT movement.. but it looks like he also had a thing for children. What does that say? We're all being asked to look beyond sexual orientation and accept everyone as there will never be widespread acceptance of homosexuality if these kinds of things cannot be openly discussed. Jerry Sandusky is a homosexual that was having anal sex with young boys for years and years and years.. even his own adopted son. I think the multitude of boys outweighs the wife. Gay men are not allergic to women.. there's nothing stopping him from hiding within that relationship. But his behavior strongly indicates that what he primarily was was homosexual.. and also a pedophile. The same can be said of the Catholic church scandal.. they were not primarily priests.. that was just their job.. they were homosexual men and pedophiles that worked as priests.
