This tool seems pretty handy for sharing code with people and it comes with the added bonus of being able to compile/interpret submissions. If you need to share some code in one of the 40 languages supported by, this isn't a bad way to do it. http://ideone.com/
Gorilla - are you a programmer and what languages do you program with? I program with several different language in a cross platform environment - I would be interested in hearing your skills - I might have some work for you if your into sub-contracting
I guess. I'm a generalist at heart since I don't do much life science since Uni. Anywho, here's the list: C C++ Perl Python Ruby Played around with a few lisp dialects I guess you can include the usual web development related stuff like some JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, and some templating languages (haml, jinja2). I haven't programmed much in Windows, and I'm probably leaving out specialized stuff like R and a very very limited amount of octave. It's good to see more people who like to tinker and code. Currently, I'm not looking for any contract work.
I like the fact that you know Python more then any other language which is highly important such as C++ and Ruby - we should talk - do you know how to build live chat with Python?
The Web development languages are pretty common but you also have XML down - do you know how to write XML/XLST languages for databases?
