HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUTUBE VIDEOS


There are several different applications you can use to download
videos from youtube.com.. A quick google search will present you
with a list of options.. but the vast majority of them require you
to download and install some software that could have a virus attached.
Keepvid.com is a sight that allows you to download videos from youtube
without installing any software on your own machine.

Here's how it works:


find the youtube video you want to download.

copy the addresss for the video

Go to http://www.keepvid.com and enter the youtube video address in the dialog box and press DOWNLOAD.

enter the twisted word into the dialog box and click submit.

keepvid usually works pretty quickly.. when the processing is complete you will
presented it with 2 choices for download.. one in FLV format and the other MP4.

right click the link of the one you prefer and select SAVE LINK AS..

rename the file to a more descriptive name and push the save button.

a 10 minute video is about 20 megabytes.. so the amount of time will vary with
internet connection speeds.. I have cable internet from comcast so its about 3
or 4 minutes.. but if you are using dialup, I would reccomend downloading shorter
videos.
