Personally, I don't see a "SHARED GOAL/VISION/PURPOSE AND PLAN" as an essential step for our Brothers and Sisters to reach individual goals, visions, purpose or plans. While I want us to obtain our individual versions of success, I am not trying to bring about a shared vision of success.

OK, well I simply don't subscribe to that "hidden features of tramatic stress" garbage. The fact that you refuse to answer the question simply reinforces my belief.
I have not "refused" anything. I stated to you this question and topic has been addressed by myself on this board and most everywhere else on the net where I go and am. Stick to the FACTS....YOU "don't subscribe to..." And just because YOU don't "subscribe" to it does not make it instantly go away and every Traumatologist out there are incorrect in their data and information.
Yesterday, I was talking with my younger brother who used to "hustle". He is an amazing example of the potential that is in our young people. He went from being a street hustler to a professional career that he loves and is VERY good at. Yesterday he told me, "Man, I really appreciate you not accepting all those excuses I used to give you, you knocked down so many excuses that I ran out of excuses" I laughed and said "What do you mean?" He said, "I had a 101 excuses that I thought where legitimate excuses but you wasn't hearing it...you rejected every one I threw up" He then said, "You probably thought I wasn't listening, but I was, I remember clearly the day we where on the porch when you knocked down my last excuse"

I told him, "All I could do was give you the message that you weren't getting from all those who where enabling you, but when the rubber met the road, it was up to you to step up to the plate and do what you had to do. Bro., not only did you step up to the plate, you hit a grand slam"

My brother was never a victim of trumatic stress, hidden or otherwise. He simply fell into the trap of lure of the culture of fast money without effort and investment in self...."cause the white man got me down".

And is it not possible that that dynamic exist PRIMARILY when a person of Afreekan Descent chooses to value and embrace their own cultural teachings? EVERYBODY who so desires WILL NOT make it out ....AS LONG AS THE SHYSTEM IS IN PLACE AND MAINTAINED by those living in it. remember dynamic interactional processes...when people in the lowerclass CHANGE it will force a change in the middle and upper. For the record, MOST if not ALL of my success in life have been predicated upon not being REACHED! There is a not of negativity in life that will attempt to REACH those who would otherwise be successful if they did not buy into the gar-bage'
No, I can't be reached with EXCUSES. I can't be reached with NAYSAYING. I can't be reached with Illogical concepts presented as "facts" from self-professed "sick" people in need of "healing" who declare that I too am "sick" but just don't know it. I can't be reached by most of the negativity that offers nothing more than excuses for staying in an undesirable condition while ignoring the logical, common sense ways that any and everybody can remove themselves from that undersirable condition.

SO, if that is all you have, you can suspend all attempts to "reach" me because be assured, from that perspective, I cannot be reached.

More of our people should give not being able to be reached a try...They would REACH more of their personal goal, not be dragged down by naysayers, negativity, excuses, mis-diagnoses of "sickness" or needs for "healing", etc. etc. etc. Remove all that baggage and the sky is the limit.
