I've been doing some research within the last couples days about hair removal for black people. Looking throughout the various sites, there are many different ways of removal or reducing effects, but not all of them apparently work well for us.

I would like to know if anyone has done so, and what worked the best for you? (Price, permanence or reduced, amount of hair treated, etc.)

There's not much to find when it comes to removing hair , there are many different
sorts of creams / and chemicals used .....outside of Laser hair removal we just find what
    seem best to our skin.

Kuroto ... Welcome Welcome Welcome !!! ...

    Thanks for joining us!

Your question is so general, it makes me wonder, what hair are you wanting removed?

I'm thinking, depending on where the hair is, it may require different approaches?

Again, thanks for joining us, and please make yourself at home, because you are!

    Much Love and Peace.

    experience

allow me to share my experience with you. I tried laser hair removal on my chin; I don't recommend it. They will tell you that there are special settings for dark skin, etc... and that you may have to return more often because the melanin in your hair makes it harder to kill the root. I went 3 times, ended up with more hair and a few hundred dollars short in the pocket.

Waxing I find works alright for small areas, like chin, lip or eyebrows, and then in between you get some good tweezers and magnifying mirror to keep it clean.

I've not tried sugaring... but have used gentle hair removal creams for the face successfully. Don't care for Neet, or any product that is extra strength as it can burn our sensitive skin.

If you are looking to bikini wax be very investigative of the parlour hygiene and the aesthetics credentials! Waxing can cause blistering, or infection if it's not done right. I've not had it happen to me, but I've heard stories.

    Good luck
