    Now, I'm a glutton for punishment whenever I hear it because I cry every time....but the old song "Faded Rose" by Shirley Caesar is one of my favs.

    It's often played on gospel radio on Mother's Day....I cry when I hear but can't seem to make myself NOT listen to it. :10500:


    And I'm glad I couldn't find a play of it. lol

    But, some of the words are....

    "If I had a million dollars, Mama, I'd line your grave with gold if it would only wake you up from your eternal sleep.....This faded rose is all I have to give but Mama I tried..Oh, how I tried to make you happy...while you lived...."



    Whew!....Somebody pass me some tissue!
