As a working adult, GED is the appropriate choice for you but you also need to prepare before taking the test. You can boost your career after getting diploma, you will be considered more educated and skillful but most importantly you can continue your studies and can take admission in a college to further enhance your career. Let’s face it if you are more educated, you live more comfortable life, you can earn more in less time and you feel and look more confident than before. You will be acceptable in society as an educated man and you will earn more respect. Employers will consider you for the promotion. You will be secure financially. So GED will help you in one way or another to boost your career.

I have to agree with this on all points. I've seen how applicants of all shades are treated when they apply for a job at where I work at. If they use slang, it's over with, if they are not dressed decent, it's over with, and forget about saggin, you've just wasted time filling the application out. An high school diploma will not even get you an application, I've seen many people get told the truth, and that is you need at least an AA to even be looked at.

Peace!

I think you are putting the cart before the horse. It is better to actually graduate from high school
