istlota, I don't disagree with your statement. But I don't see why we would be embracing the Euro-man , after all the damage they have caused on us and the earth. We as Africans need to set the example of what to follow not the other way around. The Euro-man does a great many things wrong, embracing them is to be ignorant. To learn to tolerate the pain of slavery is not what we should do. But to mindfully work ourselves away from their culture of destruction, would empower us toward our richness.
There are some levels of pain that i am not comfortable with, and there will be no acclimation. Some can take pain better than me, in fact, problee most. There is one glaring problem with your argument. Whites are not the only ignorant mortals doing wicked crap on the planet. Blacks are just as guilty of evil acts. The members here who hasten to agree with you all have the same blind spot. They all would know, if they dared open their eyes, that blacks are no angels either. I have made a point a few times over the years which is worth repeating. The only thing distinguishing whites from blacks in this wicked age is opportunity. Whites, temporarily, have more opportunity to act on their worst inclinations than blacks solely because, temporarily, whites are at the top of the socioeconomicpolitical totem pole. That was not always true and will not always be true. There are more than enough examples of African heads of states who are beneath contempt to prove to those who are honest that whites have done nothing that blacks are not capable of given the same socioeconomicpolitical opportunity.
I have not read anything in the above that attempts to approach the question: "Do we embrace white people"?
