    I agree 100%. In the spirit of the OP's thread, "God's intent" is backed up by the scripural reference I provided earlier.

    I agree with taking responsibility to work towards healing our community. Lets do this. I want to build strong Black families, build Black businessess and encourage entrepreneurship, and inspire Black youth to have ambitions and to acquire the skill sets required to reach those ambitions. Being largely conservative in my ideology does not prevent me from feeling this way towards my community. I would never tell an individual that I would never work with them if they are working towards these obviously beneficial goals.

    These goals cannot be reached, however, without a fundamental change in our behavior. If we want change, we can not remain the same.

    That was an appeal to Maz to back down from his declaration to not work with me. I will work with those who are about doing something. He seems hell bent on defining me and being a barrier to unity. It seems we want the same things, but yet he seems opposed to unity.
