Tell Mao and Marx it's not a religion, and those in the monasteries that were destroyed; Persecution under Communism [edit] Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge The Khmer Rouge actively persecuted Buddhists during their reign from 1975 to 1979[53]. Buddhist institutions and temples were wantonly destroyed and Buddhist monks and teachers were killed in large numbers[54]. A third of the nations monasteries were destroyed along with numerous holy texts and items of high artistic quality. 25,000 Buddhist monks were massacred by the regime.[55] The persecution was undertaken because Pol Pot believed Buddhism to be "a decadent affectation". He sought to eliminate Buddhism's 1,500 year old mark on Cambodia.[55]. [edit] China See also: Buddhism in China Since the communist revolution, Buddhism was at times severely restricted and brought under state-control. During the cultural revolution, Buddhists were actively persecuted and sent for re-education, and temples, statues, and sutras were vandalized and destroyed. In recent years, Buddhism has been enjoying a revival but most Buddhist institutions are within the confines of the state. [edit] Tibet Although many temples and monastories have been rebuilt after the cultural revolution, Tibetan Buddhists have largely been confined by the Government of the People's Republic of China[56]. Buddhist monks and nuns have been reported tortured and killed by the Chinese military, according to all human rights groups[57]. There were over 6,000 monasteries in Tibet, and nearly all were ransacked and destroyed by the Chinese communists, mainly during the Cultural Revolution.[58] [edit] Mongolia Buddhist monks were persecuted in Mongolia during communist rule up until democratization in 1990.[59] Khorloogiin Choibalsan complied with the orders of Joseph Stalin, destroying almost all of Mongolia's over 700 Buddhist monasteries and killing thousands of monks.[60] [edit] North Korea Religious practices are severely restricted in North Korea, as many religious denomination are persecuted by the communist regime. Nevertheless, Buddhists in North Korea reportedly fared better than other religious groups—particularly Christians. The only cult that is encouraged by the government is that of 'Dear Leader' Kim Jong-II and his late father Kim Il-Sung. [edit] Soviet Union Buddhism was persecuted and looked down upon by the Soviet authorities. Adherents were brutally attacked by the authorities.[61] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_Buddhists
which proves that both Buddha and Jesus were either Lakota First Americans or Yoruba, read Black Elk Speaks http://www.amazon.com/Black-Elk-Speaks-Being-Oglala/dp/0803283598 then read the Allasha of Yoruba says the same thing, next!
hetep As I stated earlier in another thread my sister is a buddist. She prescribes to the ancient form. It is similar to the true teachings of chrisitianity. That also mirror the kemet teachings. For give me if i state this correctly Anuk ausar! I am ausar, I am Budda, I am christ. They are the budda and the world they must create and fix is there own. Each individual being responsible for thier own actions not blaming any thing that occurs in there life on an higher power and understanding that they need the collective whole of all the Budda's to accomplishment all task. The self is the key and the constant is all situations.
Buddha and Jesus could have been Kemetic Priests. Or say, students in Kemet. But they could have been Kushite missionaries too. (Or made up based on real priests) I do not see what Ankhur is trying to accomplish here. Modern religions, for the most part, spread from Kush and Kemet. What's pointing out Yoruba and Lakota similarities supposed to accomplish? It's evidence that the belief systems have similar origins . . ..
Simple common sense brother, simple common sense! Thinking like the white man in analysis, does not help the seeking of truth as they said everything god comes from them and no one else! All of the indegenous peoples of the world and all of the worlds major religions have simlar tentes whether they come from the Inuit First Americans or the Kahuna Because some don't like the term religion, how can one then say a person's religion is not a religion? would you go into that temple in the Chinatown of your city and tell the people there that? Look up Siddahartha and do the math! White folks were into making fantasies about us now we are making fantasies about someones religion? One brother once said the First Americans were the 12 tribes of Isreal, another said there was no middle passage from Africa, and that we were as Black folks always here in America and they put us on boats to fool us!
