Since i have no agenda and you don't have a 'bible', i wonder if cherryblossom took heed to what the buddha said about 'believing'.

    Probably not!

Nothing in the thread really overturns the idea of the original Buddha being an Indian.

In terms of the section that points out similarity with the Bible, Buddhism probably influenced Christianity through Hellenistic Greece. In return, parts of the bible that came from other people living in the region may have trickled into Buddhism. This seems like the more plausible thing, especially when considering the time-lines and authorship.

Nope. Not Hellenistic Greek. The correct term would be indo Greek which they don't teach in the white mans schools for obvious reasons.

what are you whining and crying about now?

your fear, and vile attiude and negative energy, because of a challenge to your statements sounds like Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and O'Reilly put together, there fore it would be wise to ask your cheerleader, to give you a mirror, to look at the man or what ever, in the mirror

here are your remarks and my response

so what man in his right mind can not see that you already made this a religious discussion; (talk about someone in need of psychiatric help? gimme a break!, sounds like transferrence complex, or the frig calling the stove white)

"i never said that the europeans INVENTED JESUS.
I said that they took a STORY OF FOLKLORE
    (which you also quoted)
and made it seem as if the figure JESUS really existed,
for the sole purpose of controlling the minds of the masses which is still obviously in effect today."

So then basically what is the definition of invention? You say Jesus never existed

Europeans created the story to control people.

The scholarship here is flawed because not only does it not take into fact the Gnostic Gospels original texts,
    before the Nicean council

which were written to liberate not control, nor does it take into account the basic tentes of the Gospel , removed from the dogma

Nor does it take into account, the African Christianity predating the Nicean Council,
The Dessert Fathers, The Coptic church of Egypt or the Ethiopian Orthodox Coptic.

The history of Christian persecution is recorded in Roman history written by Romans,
therefore why would whites write a story about Heru being a Jew and use that to control?

The question here was this thread a veiled or not so veiled attempt to attack both Bhuddism and Christianity?

The Indo-Greeks were Hellenistic. Hellenistic is a term that describes a period of history.
