This is one of my favorite shots.
man there is a great need for a lot of this between us as men
man, I see it everywhere.. I here folk talk about black men killing eachother,
but I sure dont see it.. I don't believe it either.. I think its all a part of the
lie.. them dope dealers are shooting each other over dope..
so it should be called dope dealer on dope dealer crime.. not black on black..
I meet new black men everyday.. up nod.. down nod.. whats up .. whats
happening.. handshakes and pounds.. no problems..
I hear you on that Bro, its about the same for me...if anything else we just give a nod out of acknowledgement, especially on the street, or visiting somewhere we arenot used to being, where it is great seeing another that can be kin...I know the beef may be there, but I dont see it all as they claim...
it really makes you wonder.. because they lie about everything else..
folks are suspicious of Katrina.. and the Earthquake in Haiti and everything
else, but nobody seems to question the idea that black men are killing
each other.. Most homicides are never solved, but folks automatically start
talking about black on black crime.. but if you don't know who did it, then
how do you know? It's to the point where anybody can kill a black man and
it will chalked up as just another black on black killing.. anyway..
I've writing around the whole non-verbal communicative culture that exists
within black male culture.. all the nods and looks and gestures, etc.. I just
feel like we are under attack from every angle.. and all we really have is
That is true most of them are young men killing for power tuff and drug deals
I know where gangs have come to a truce and united for the better , we just
need to handshake more and be brotherly after all we only have each other
I can understand why.
