Peace In,

So I'm editing my next book before I have it re-edited by a professional editor. Writing it was easy but editing is the hard part! My first fiction novel titled: The Black Woman Blues was my first published work but I expect #2 to surpass that one! What are your thoughts on editing???

That depends on you and your style of writing as well as the audience you are seeking to reach. I edit all my own books, do my own covers and everything else. So the question is, are you seeking to speak the Kings english in your writing, are you seeking to write in a conversational tone, an academic tone or as an observer telling the story? All of this will determine your reasons for editing outside of typographical errors.
