This is a good post. I think it is 'majority rules' but, the minority has always been there, people who do notice the black woman's beautiful body. And we need to start respecting that minority because that is what counts. Trouble is in the past, black women wanted the attention from 'others' and did not respect the attention they were getting from the few...and its the same today. Therefore her message will be counter-productive. it's not good to want to be recognized by the wrong kind of attention.
please , there are jive Yoruba priestesses and priests just like there are jive Father Divines , Daddy Graces, and Creflo Mo -Dollas. Until her religious beliefs are publicly verified, where does this lead?
this was all about attention for badu and it has worked well. i don't think there is anything to it beyond that.
