it was them gosh darn hippity hoppers…..
James you wish the answer was that easy. Yea blame the kids right?
You can't be serious, or can you?
I guess you're not in the "hood" any more or maybe never was. Well I am, and I deep in the hood. Feel me. Just like anything else you (IMO) cannot generalize a group of people, especially your own group. Yes there are negative affects of the "hood", I'll give you that, but when you use the term "majority", not all peoples of the "hood" are affected negatively by non integration.
Despite your impression of the "hood", there are people in "hoods" all over this planet, taking care of their families, and getting along just fine without integration.
Integration is not the cure all. I contend integration might even be the problem. Especially when that integration is applied on the heals of "history", as it pertains to Enslaved Africans in Amerikkka over the last 5 centuries.
I don't know I thought it started in the late 60's or early 70's when more and more teenagers started having babies at younger and younger ages. Now 40 some years later here we are, wounded by the heroin and crack eras (which stills exists to a degree), the 40's, St Ides (appeared in the 90's), The original old english 800, Colt 45, ballantine XXX, The liquor stores, chinese restaurants, "planned" parenthood, after all of that I don't think crazy glue could stick.
We went a little overboard here didnt we? Generation next dropped the bll. Many ASSumed the civil rights fight was over. In fact, many still resent they actually have to do their part. I will also state, my generation dropped the ball in raising their kids. Too many went for presents instead of presence in raising their kids. We see the results today
