this question is directed mainly to the brothers but of course sisters feel free to offer your opinions also,and the question is this-why are we so fasinated with hats-caps-beenies-berets and other types of coverings,no not all of us but most of us love hats no matter what style of hair or no hair that we may have,i can remember in the seventies when the afro was the style but still brothers would have on a little hat over all that hair,do you think that this is something in us subconsously or is there another explanation? and yes i too love my hats.
im a female, and i love hats too. i usually wear fitteds (baseball caps, mostly 5950\'s made by new era), but if its cute and i look good in it ill rock it. as far as the fascination, i dont know what it is. i dont wear them to keep my head warm, i wear them to coordinate with my outfits. fashion statement, you can say. i dont think theres rhyme or reason to why we wear hats other than to make our clothes, and us, stand out more.
I never really was a hat type , but i will sport them with the right atire. I have no clue to why , i think one whom wear hats daily as part of there fashion can speak on it better .
