DESTEE DIVINE! I had traveled to many a poetical sites and I tried to fit in with all of my might. When one day a friend invited me...to come to this place called Destee. A place where the poets could play...where the talent was tight and you would definitely stay. This creator I had heard of in Essence it seemed here was a strong black woman realizing her dream. I ventured in this place with no expectations and it exceeded them indeed. It has everything I need! The Poetry flowed like manna and the responses were quite quick. There were no gimmicks and no not a trick! The place was truly a playground and I loved it every inch...and when you needed guidance you could get it in a pinch. I even interviewed her for her accomplishments in Awareness magazine who better to be featured she was blowing up the scene. Now known throughout cyberspace they are mentioning her name! Destee is most deserving of this fame. You would think she is unapproachable, or she couldn't make time for issues and answers, but she was there for me just as sweet as oleander. Calling me on the phone while from surgery I healed. When I pitched my Diva antics she treated it as no big deal. She could calm me like a friend I had known all my life and she never seems to feel like this is to much strife. An understanding multitasking, mother and Queen, where would we poets be if she were not on the scene! NOW GIVE UP SOME MONEY AND SUPPORT SUPPORT! NOW GIVE SOME LOVE AND SHOW RESPECT TO ONE ANOTHER AND MOST OF ALL LETS MAKE PROUD OUR POETRY MOTHER!
