My pleasure Sister ... though i'm one of the rare Sisters that loves experiencing her cycle. It baffles me to read the dread that most have concerning these wonderful moments in time ... I know it's real, the negative experience many have with it, but it's never been that for me. I'm sitt'n here contemplate'n hang'n out with Sisters during their time ... should she ever leave me ... Yes, I've read of your "affection" for your cycle. But, the dread that some other women have "baffles" you and is not your view because, admittedly, you've never experienced the monthly, excruciatingly painful cramps, headaches, bloating and other aches/pains that many other women go through. I mean, really, if, for a certain amount of days, EVERY MONTH, you have to look forward to feeling weak and cramps and headaches and backaches and swollen feet and bloating and even a BUMP somewhere on your FACE, letting the WHOLE WORLD KNOW that you're on your cycle (lol), then it's just not sumpn you'd be HAPPY about. My sister has already gone thru menopause and I'm going thru it now. (Thank Ya, LAWD!) And I CAN'T WAIT 'til it's OVA! I've been on this "JOB" for over THIRTY-FIVE YEARS now, and I'm ready to RETIRE! ....Just please gimme my "plaque," my "pen set," a luncheon, and LEMME GO!
lol at you're ready to retire ... oh gosh ... it's so sad to me ... she's been such a wonderful friend and life-long companion ... her death will devastate me ... i've even asked God to let her remain with me forever ... but i don't wanna appear greedy ... so those prayers are often half-hearted, as it seems so selfish a request ... it's not something that i've ever heard tell of a woman getting ... throughout her old age ... hmmmm ... (this may require some googling on my part, gett'n excited) ... in lieu of God blessing abundantly ... i may have to just start stalking young women experiencing theirs ... they'll be wondering ... what is this old woman doing hanging out with us once a month ... ... ... i'm wondering if the contagious element is strong enough to work through menopause ... (gett'n excited again) ... there are medical treatments and medicines to stop your menstrual period ... which is the kraziest thing to me ... but i wonder if there are medical treatments and medicine to keep her with you?!!! ... hmmmm ... as much as i love her ... i don't think i'd go that far ... gett'n all kind of strange quacks in our beautiful relationship ... *sigh* yes, you're right though ... i've not had any of the experiences most women have ... it's been the complete opposite for me ... so soothing, calming, meditative ... almost God Like ... oh well ... such is life ... win some and you lose some ... lol @ you want your plaque, pen set, and luncheon ... well ... just know ... i'll be over here grieving ... i guess all my distress will be wrapped up in that one moment ... vs ... a little bit every month ... like everyone else problee evens out in the end ...
