well ....when I read the rules I never said anything about either people being in a relationship. If your looking for Mister Right or Mister Right now, you have to kick a few tires. If it's the same three guys I wouldn't consider it sleeping around.
I think the term jumpoff is now known as a side piece, someone who you dont want a commitment with being that you are already in a committed relationship. Im not really buying the two consenting adults thing, but thats just me. Almost every man thats in a committed relationship that I know considers a jumpoff as a side piece, so cheating has to be involved somewhere. I dont hear single men using that term...Im just saying.
A nooooo I did not watch the whole video...I don't have time nor patience to watch a 20 minute video...And besides I'm only commenting on jump-off the definition of a jump-off and my interpretations of it.
you did not watch the whole episode and made an assumption. I used the rules in the context of an agreement between to consenting adults.
A Jumpoff is a person male or female who you have an agreement with, be it verbal or social. You could be a career minded woman and you do not have the time, or just do not want a relationship. you don't want to sleep around so you have a few male friends that are strictly for sex. no strings attached. Do you remember Robin Givens and Eddie Murphy's Roles in the movie Boomerang? They were Jumpoffs Eddie Murphy broke the rules by falling in love.
I'm not saying you made them....I saw that you were reading it from somewhere...But a jumpoff is someone who is having an affair with someone who is in some sort of relationship...As we usually see in the media, like a basketball player who has a wife or significant other who is out kanoodling with some other woman...
Who said anything about cheating? jumping off and cheating are to entirely different things. I am just stating the rules, I didn't make them. By the way..... I've been happily married for 25 years, I'm just saying.
