Black Astrology : Do you like Modern Astrology?

They do? What new planet (asteroid!? ) has been added to the existing 12 astrological signs?
No, Planets and asteroids are two different things. When I mean asteroids I mean asteroids like Chiron or Juno. These are the asteroids that astronomers discovered recently. The new planet Pluto had been added to the sign scorpio. The planet Uranus has been added to Aquarius. The planet Neptune have been added to Pisces. These planets are pretty redundant as the other 7 planets I have mention( sun, moon, Saturn etc) already rule these signs. But then again nobody really knows what our ancestors intended anyway.

I'm thinking you don't really understand how astrology works. For instance, if the moon or Saturn gets destroyed, people will no longer be "influenced" by the moon or Saturn. That's what the planets do, you know. They "influence" our behavior. No planet/no influence.
Oh trust me I do. In modern( and traditional) astrology they believe that these planets are still currently affect us after our birth. So that probably means that if one of the planets did get destroyed then we will probably use our personality/soul. That is why I said that astrology has to be based on psychic intuition and daily patterns in nature that affects us constantly. It might be the stars or it could be something else. Nobody really knows for sure.

Only to one who doesn't understand the concepts behind astrology.... based on celestial bodies, the STARS (astro?), not winter, fall and spring on the blue planet, or the intuition(?) of the billions of insignificant beings who inhabit it.
The concepts of astrology is based on how different cultures view the phenomenon. Other people view it based on the celestial stars while others base it on eternal patterns. What matters is if we all reach the same conclusion. The reason why these events is called "ASTROLOGY" is because the people who interpret this phenomenon believed that the stars have something to do with it. It then became widely popular around the world. But there can be a different reason. The ancestors of astrology was probably recording another phenomenon. Not based on stars, but actually fixed points in space. The main point is that astronomy is not a fixed subject and therefore these "astrological" concepts are only good for that"branch" of astrology.
Thanks for commenting though :)

No, Planets and asteroids are two different things.
I know that planets and asteroids are two different things. I was simply trying to figure out where you got the impression that "asteroids" were part and parcel of astrology, i.e., the study of stars.

In what astrology chart can I find the planet Pluto representing Scorpio?

Btw, Pluto has been demoted. Scientists no longer consider it a planet. But no worry. You're a high school student and I'm a college graduate with a science minor, thus it's understandable that I'd know this and you wouldn't.
The planet Uranus has been added to Aquarius.
Really? I thought Uranus ALWAYS represented Aquarius.

The planet Neptune have been added to Pisces. These planets are pretty redundant as the other 7 planets I have mention( sun, moon, Saturn etc) already rule these signs. But then again nobody really knows what our ancestors intended anyway.
Hmmm.... When was the planet Neptune "added" to the zodiac sign, Pisces? What was the original planet assigned to Pisces?

Oh trust me I do. In modern( and traditional) astrology they believe that these planets are still currently affect us after our birth. So that probably means that if one of the planets did get destroyed then we will probably use our personality/soul.

How do you figure? I'm pretty sure that neither my personality NOR my soul would be destroyed if the planet Mars, for example, were destroyed. :10500:

Okay. We will have to agree to disagree. In my book, "astro" means Stars; "ology" means 'the study of'. You think they mean something else. If we can't agree on etymology, or at the least, dictionary definitions, there can be no understanding, ergo, agree to disagree. :)

Don't ask me. I'm no expert. I'm just following the "concepts of astrology". Anyway asteroids are part of modern astrology, not traditional which is why I created this forum in the first place.

In what astrology chart can I find the planet Pluto representing Scorpio?
I'm confuse with what you are saying. Are you asking how and why this is possible? If so ask an modern astrologist. I like traditional. In traditional Scorpio is ruled by the planet mars. Also don't use the word "represent". Just use the word "ruler ship".

I'm really happy that you have a science minor. I like seeing black people doing positive things. But that doesn't mean you are correct.Yes I do know that Pluto is not a planet. It is a dwarf planet. But then again I never went to outer space so I don't even know if it exist. Scientist can say anything these days.

Really? I thought Uranus ALWAYS represented Aquarius.
Sorry, you are wrong. It was always Saturn and even in modern astrology they recognize the planet of Saturn.

Hmmm.... When was the planet Neptune "added" to the zodiac sign, Pisces? What was the original planet assigned to Pisces?
I don't know because I don't care.Jupiter is the original planet.

Exactly. This is why I do not like "MODERN ASTROLOGY"!!!!!

You didn't read my explanation fully. I guess we could agree to disagree. Also I know astro means stars and ology to study and I explain this already. :)

Don't ask me. I'm no expert.

Then don't speak to others slightingly.... as being less knowledgeable than yourself.

How so? Like I said, I've NEVER heard of an asteroid influencing anyone's natal chart.

I'm confuse with what you are saying. Are you asking how and why this is possible?
What is confusing about this question:

Uh, maybe I should ask: "In what astrology chart can I find WHERE IT SAYS THAT the planet Pluto represents the zodiac sign, Scorpio?" That was your contention. That Pluto represented Scorpio. Copy and Paste the verse, passage, etc., of any "reputable" astrology chart wherein the NON-planet Pluto represents the zodiac sign of Scorpio.

If so ask an modern astrologist. I like traditional. In traditional Scorpio is ruled by the planet mars. Also don't use the word "represent". Just use the word "ruler ship".
For someone who ADMITS "I don't know," you got a lot heart admonishing someone who knows EXACTLY what she's talking about. Especially someone who knows "ruler ship" is an incorrect spelling of the SINGLE word, "rulership".... and would have been kind enough to NOT point it out had you not once again, **sigh** put yourself in a high place, looking down.

Ah! Young brutha, you got one more dumb/smart thang to say to me...

pssst! I know about "google." I said Pluto wasn't a planet and YOU, being unaware, googled and realized I was "right." I could have said "Pluto is a DWARF planet," but hey! I may BE right, but I have no need to show off to a high school kid.... whom, by SHARING my knowledge and insight with him, I am trying to "be" positive (as opposed to resting on yesterday's earned "credentials").

Or getting smart right back and saying there are a LOT of places you've never been. Doesn't mean they don't exist. :nails:

Sorry, you are wrong. It was always Saturn and even in modern astrology they recognize the planet of Saturn.

Could you give a link that backs the above up? That Aquarius is ruled by Saturn?

I don't know because I don't care.Jupiter is the original planet.
I understand that your knowledge is deficient and you have no problem with that, but.... well, Pisces, the Fish, being ruled by the God of Water, Neptune, sounds kinda... right?

That's okay. Another time.

LOL. As I said in my other post about the god thing I know I went overboard. I know I should respect my elders but If something is wrong I have to go against it. I tried to at least be respectful for what I way. Anyway I know this is getting old so I will stop responding to you.
Also I was trying to be funny most of the time.
Also I got most of my information from astro.com(sorry I can't post links yet). If you want to learn more go to Wikipedia. Astrology is my life so I know a lot of things about it. The reason why I said I'm not an expert is because I don't have a degree in it. But I'm just very knowledgeable on the subject. I know you are too. Sorry If I present myself as a narcissist.
Anyway I'm tired. See you next time :)
