I have read here before that some people think that white people are the descendants of Cain, I am curious as to why some believe this. My mother and I got into a pretty deep discussion about this, that led to a pretty good discussion of the Bible. I know that some do not believe in the Bible, but I still would like to know your take on it. What are some of the reasons that you do or do not believe this.
Yes, I definitely believe that there is some truth to this belief for various reasons. although I read sister cherryblossom's posts and the new poster Angela22's responses, I will share some of my belief's on another reference point that goes back before the twins Jacob and Esau. I look at geography, secular history, and some science based upon the dates and times of the life of Cain as cited in the Bible in the pre-flood times, and based upon that time span, yes, there were 'Asiatic' or 'White' people way back then during those times.
The Bible reveals that Cain [and his wife] was driven 'Nodeast' [Northeast] from the point of 'the Garden of Eden', and no matter where the Garden of Eden was exactly, history places it in some kind of central region that today would be 'western' region of the earth. No matter though, the north east would have been in an eastern direction and this would fit all Asiatic or 'White' origins in regards to history. then there is the Egyptian records of these times, and 'the fair daugthers of Cain' do fit the Asiatic or 'White' depictions presented in secular accounts of those same times before the Biblical flood.
The 4th Dynasty depictions of Rahotep and Nofret is just one of several examples of 'the Asiatic presence' in ancient Egypt. Nofret is depicted wearing a wig over her 'straight hair' as well. And then after the flood, the same kind of DNA evidence and Biblical accounts show that at least one of the women in that ark was a descendant of Cain, namely 'the wife of JapHeth'. At least one of her descendants shows this confirmation, a descendant of Gomer, namely ASHKENAZ, the father of the post flood NAZI expressions that spread from the east throughout the world eventually, in part show a definite connection to this man. the history of the Gomers is vast, and encompasses the Kenites, and the Ashkenaz, and so many more, but this is just a few points that I see to verify, the blood of Cain did not die out with the flood.
More recently too, would be the documentary about the project that produced the findings about Neaderthal DNA in many humans today, of which supports the presence of 'light skinned beings' in early times, whether they be connected to Cain or not. I just saw part of this documentary on PBS just yesterday when I was preparing to leave my house. It showed how the Neanderthals came from THE EAST and migrated into Europe. They didn't just appear in Europe but they came from the NORTHEAST.
The documentary also said that along with many White Europeans, I think they said that some Asian groups 'Oriental people' in the Far EAst have some percentage of Neanderthal DNA as well.
And then there is the new sceintific information about 'Blue eyes' of which fits this Nodeastern [Northeaster] region as well of which correlates to the Biblical history of Cain's whereabouts when he was driven out of 'the Garden of the Earth'. Based upon what I have researched, I do believe that 'the mark of Cain' had to do with being 'a mark in his forehead' meaning, his eyes at the very least, and it has something to do with him having 'blue eyes' and i do believe that this 'mutation' became a definite genetic trait as today's scientist do attest to a northeastern region of origin for 'blue eyes'. i believe that Cain was 'a BLack man' who was marked with 'Blue eyes' and he bonded with a woman that carried DNA of having lighter skinned offspring TO THE POINT IN WHICH HIS GENERATION BECAME LIGHTER AND LIGHTER COMPLEXIONED AS THEY MAY HAVE DELIBERATELY BONDED IN WAYS TO PRODUCE LIGHTER SKINNED OFFSPRING UNTIL THEY BECAME WHITE. That is what i believe.
As far as Noah's wife, the Bible specifically states that 'Noah was perfect in his generations' in the Book of Genesis, I believe Chapter 6, and this scripture has been mistranslated to cause people to believe Noah was perfect. But in means that HIS GENERATIONS were DESCENDANTS OF SETH of which means that his wife had to have been a descendant of SETH TOO IN ORDER FOR NOAH TO HAVE PERFECT IN HIS GENERATIONS!
So not only was Noah a descendant of Seth as the Bible timeline details from Adam to Noah, but Noah himself was perfect in HIS GENERATIONS! The Bible says that Noah was A JUST MAN and in addition, he was PERFECT IN HIS GENERATIONS. Again, therefore his wife had to have been a descendant of Seth, meaning a 'Black' woman and therefore the three Patriarchs were DESCENDANTS OF SETH from both their father's side and their mothers' side. But at least one of the three of them had to have carried a Cainite woman on the ark.
And another thing, I have run across so many White poeple that have named their children CAIN!--if you can believe that! About two years ago, I went to a dentist, a female dentist, and she told me tht her son's name was Cain. Not only do they name their kids 'Cain' but they also name their Churches after Cain too! Go figure.
