In the Spirit of Sankofa and Truth!
sister cherryblossom,
If I may, allow me to add a little something extra to your excellent findings that will perhaps shed even more light. While Evangelist Ted Weiland’s Mission to Israel is correct in identifying the current imposters or proselytes, if you will, their goal is to replace them with yet another erroneous group. For example, here are excerpts of questions and back up source answers:
Did you know that according to the Bible, archaeology, history and even many Jews, it is the Anglo-Saxons, Germanics, Scandinavians, Celts and kindred peoples who are descended from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and are, therefore, Israelites by ancestral descent?
yes no unsure
Did you know according to many Jewish authorities, such as the 1980 Jewish Almanac, that most of today's Jews, including those living in the Holy Land, are not even Israelites, but are merely proselytes to Judaism?
yes no unsure
"Here's a paradox, a paradox, a most ingenious paradox: and anthropological fact, many Christians may have much more Hebrew-Israelite blood in their veins than most of their Jewish neighbors." 1

In my opinion, there are salient facts of scripture to be considered. Before there were Israelites, there were Hebrews and the tribe of Judah, which provides the construct for Jews; initially, from that specific tribe, in conjunction with the locale of Jerusalem, territorily.
Abram(Abraham) was a Hebrew and had sons that were Hebrews (Ishmael and Isaac), which in turn had sons(Esau and Jacob), which in turn had sons, one of which was Judah. So, ancient Israelites can be identified as Jews. A name conversion took place, from Jacob to Israel, and hence the term Israel begins to take shape as an identifier for the group, thus we have the ambiguous term, Israelites.
Now, with this biblical understanding comes this salient fact. All Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews, which is to say, all true Jews/Hebrews are Israelites, but all Israelites are not true Jews/Hebrews.
Again, without considering the inclusion of this biblical basis of facts, we have a conundrum working whenever there is discussion of Hebrews, Jews and Israelites.
