One of the things that I have always dug about Beyonce is that she is a true student of the Arts.. and you can see the impact of each of her influences in her work.. it's ever changing. The introduction of the performance is pure Alvin Ailey.. and its beautiful to see the next generation incorporate the best of what was done before them.. it's a sign of Artistic maturity.
