I was approached sometime ago to put my web design skills to use to assist in
the relaunch of Destee's forum and am not sure how much time I can provide but I
can definitely pass along some useful information that will facilitate this
project.

There is a website www.joomla.org that is an open source content management
system. Albeit I have yet to use the software, my due diligence
does suggest that this would be the tool of choice.

I myself have never worked with Joomla but will be launching 2 projects using
the technology and therefore will become quite familiar with the tool in the
foreseeable future.

As of this morning (3:00 AM), at least one of the many articles/contents received, is showing and others should be deposited into this link. ru2religious, a Webmaster in his own rights, accompanied me last night and will be in Thursdays meeting to help explain all this.

Mario is fast working toward getting us into all three (3) of his servers and NAS (network attachment storage device), I’m sure both of you know exactly what is taking place beyond my limited knowledge. Again, we supply the contents to Mario and he supplies all the resources at no charge, is my understanding.

Progress Report

The Origin of Racism Group held it’s 9th meeting, December 11th, 2008. The Group Think (GT) meeting was promptly called at 10:00 AM Eastern and concluded at 10:45 AM Eastern. For a period of 15 minutes, a question and answer was conducted. The absence of any such questions or statements from Family members also in attendance is a strong indication that the process is clear in its progress and backed soundly by others.

In attendance and on the mic for GT were brown_hOrnet, and Clyde C. Coger, Jr., and telephonically, A007. In the absence of a qualified quorum, the members in attendance agreed to suspend further issues so as not to inundate the catch up process for the third participant.

Information concerning the launch of the Destee.comNewsletter was key and central, to include receipt of all promised input. brown_hOrnet explained efforts taken in the solicitation of the third member, and the agreed upon desire to balance GT with Female participation. New member, Jahari Kavi posted well-received comments to the below issues.

Question: What is the Origin of Racism (continued discussion)
Issues that Divide us (Obama, Meat eaters vs. Vegetarians, Religion, etc.)

The members also agreed that a successful Newsletter carries invaluable on-going insight for our members, as well as those outside of Destee.com. With that, the members are comfortable with the direction the project, Group Think, is going; while realizing one the major goals of the plan is in the making. All in all in was a very good 8th meeting of the Group.

Also, Destee has created a Forum for us, Origin of Racism Group, under that forum are five threads, use the Brotha Clyde thread to contact me, and or leave info you deem for Group Think. We had a very impromptu meeting today, nevertheless a good one. The principles, other than myself and Zulile, weren't available, but for good reasons, all is well.

I am in receipt of your information, it is excellent! Right away, the floride info is proper for the Destee.comNewsletter, obviously, and should find a place inside the book. I am certain the table of contents will reflect health issues.

I will advise you as I have others, this project is under going growing pains, and has to be flexible until it is set, after which point we shall move with lightning speed toward the goal. So, hang in there with us, and keep the faith.............Clyde

The meeting went well, very well. It appears to be a vacancy in the Group Think function. So far, the time is set on Tueadays from 12:30 - 01: 30 Eastern, in Voice Chat. To participate in Group Think, you need a mic, and check in no less than, two(2) hours, before time, for sound check (see lilpea).

Let me know if you can start attending, so that I can make the necessary changes in writing, also go over a few more details.

Please become familiar with the format and the Plan as it has been laid out. The understanding Destee and I have is that only Group Think(GT) members will be on the mic. The Family is invited but understands that the objectives will be carried out through dialogue of GT members on the mic.

Based on my experience with the Chat Room, I am asking participating Group Think members to only focus on the business, with no side-bar texting. Members of the Family should understand that Group Think members are not there to answer questions or text to Family members during the length of the meeting.

The anticipation is that it will take several meetings for everyone to catch on to the flow of Group Think, and how I think it should be coordinated in order to successfully reach our stated objective.
