We have 2 forums exclusively for poetry, Poetry - Get Your Flow On!, which is very active and Poetry - Quiet Peaceful Flow Lounge, which is less active because only 4 threads per Member are allowed each week. You can start a new thread in either of these by clicking on the NEW TOPIC image found at the bottom and top of every page inside these forums. Once you click on it, a new screen will be displayed where you can enter the title of your poetry and the poem itself. At the bottom of this same page you'll see a button that says SUBMIT NEW THREAD. Click on it and your poetry will be posted.
How do i reply to someone's thread / poetry?
At the top and bottom of each thread there is an image that says POST REPLY. Click on it and a screen will be presented where you can enter your reply to that thread. At the bottom of this same page you'll see a button that says SUBMIT REPLY. Click on it and your reply will be posted to that thread.
Why can't i post property that belongs to others, without their permission?
While there are copyright laws that need to be considered, this rule has nothing to do with them. I'm not an attorney and i'm not trying to make sure everyone obeys the laws of the land.
This rule is about respect. Giving due and proper respect to that which belongs to someone else. The very same thing that each of us want when it comes to our property. This community is built on respect for each other and for me to allow such gross disrespect would be hypocritical, in my opinion.
If you want to post property in this community, that belongs to someone else, please get their permission first and include that permission with their property.
What rules apply to the poetry forums only?
1. Don't flood the poetry forums with your work.
2. Give the kind of love you want to receive.
3. If you don't have anything kind to say, say nothing at all.
4. Do not use the poetry (property) of others without their permission.
5. No discussion threads, polls, or advertisements are allowed in the poetry forums.
