I want to say a few words about sista Joyce, if I may. I have to applaud you, Joyce, for always flowing words of truth, upholding the principles found in God's Word, the Bible. You are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and whether you know it or not, you are beacon of light in many a dark place. You touch my heart with wise counsel you so eloquently couch inside all your verses. You gently admonish all who read....especially me; and I ain't too proud to say that I do stand in need. S/he who hath ears...let them hear...

I salute you sista Joyce. Continue to be a lamp and a light, as you share your faith ... on your mission to fulfill the "great commission".

A VERY good choice for Poet of the Week, Brotha Bishop.

With love and respect,

Congratulations Joyce..

Not only are the words you write, spiritually rewarding to the reader, but the depth, the gentleness and the peacefulness that are bound within them, make what you have to say, special...

You do deserve this honour...have a lovely week..

Alyce: Thank you so much for your heartfelt words. They touhed me especially deep. We have fellowshiped poetically here at this forum for quite sometime and we have both been blessed from the works of each other. I do not and will not take your words for granted. Thank you.

Kitana: Thanks for your kind expressions. Coming from a poet such as yourself, I am honored. I am encouraged all the more, to ponder the paths of life...wisely through poetic insight.

Rich: I will ever be grateful for your presence in my poetic life. Thank you for all of the tremendous support you have shown towards me. It means a lot to me. You are truly a cup bearer to the poets here at this forum.

Sherykah: I have had God confirm things at times through different things which I read in someones poetry. But never, has anything been confirmed to me in this way with such a sharp right on word. Your words are truly prophetic, girlfriend. There is no way for you to have known that I have been working on a special project for 6 weeks now. I have not shared this with no one on the forum. Gurl, you had me checking my old private messages to make sure that I hadn't told no one. You see...I am in the very process of starting my own greeting card venture, exclusively showcasing my poetry. When I read your reply last nite to one of my other poems, it stunned me, because that poem IS actually of of the cards in the project. And then for you to come back with it again with an even stronger message, just confirms to me again that I am doing the right thing in starting my own. This is why I haven't been around as much. The project is taking a lot of my free time until it is finished. I have a full time job. Gotta eat. :)

Anyway gurl....thanks for the bold applausing words of confirmation....I'm still flabbergasted

Natasha: That's exactly what I strive for in my craft...to be uplifting. I have been in the place of "Lost Words" and I
never want to be there again. That's why I enjoyed that poem.
I could truly relate.
Thank you for all the love and support you have shown! :)

PoeticDelight: The energy of haiku had almost consumed me gurl. I am
still addicted :) but to the point where I sit at traffic
lights writing. Thanks for the shown of love.

Watcher: It is never a waste of time to write with inspiration. The more
one does this, the more they change for the better. In my opinion
inspiration is the most powerful form of poetry there is.
That's because you are inspire yourself and others to become
better people all the way round in every area of their lives.
Thank you watcher...I know I'm being watched.

CocoButter: Your very presence on this forum is very inspiring. Every
time you've replied to one of my pieces, you brought a
sincere sense of inspiration to my soul...thank you so much.

UbZoRbShun: Your absorption is very much appreciated. The way you respond
to all the poets here, is so very unique. No one here, has
a way with such few words as yourself. Thanks for all the
wild encouragment. I love it! :jumping:

Shaz: Thanks for your beautiful words. In times past, I took my foundation
in Christ for granted, but in the past year, I have been thru trials
and was found standing...still. This is due mainly, because of love.
Loving Him. In love (a powerful thang when directed at Jesus),
my sins are forgiven and my shortcomings are covered. This in turn
makes it easier for me to overcome my guilt and condemnation and
move on towards higher life. In writing poetry, I am helped when
I give Him the pen and allow Him to write through me.

Aaron: It is so good to hear from you!!! You and I have had a poetic
acquaintance of special uniqueness for more than two years.
I still remember a poem of yours that was so enjoyable reading.
I won't go into the details of it here, but I remember the burst
of laughter I made out loud when I read this line..."foot prints
in the ceiling". Very few poems will still with me for years to
come after having read them only twice. Your personality is very
bubbly indeed and I shall always love you for dat!
I am so glad that through all of the thick darkness, you came into His
Marvelous light. Illness did not take you away from us. So good
to know you are doing so much better. Keep sprinkling on us.
We love you here.

Ms GA_Sunshyne: These words coming from a
a poet such as yourself, mean a lot. Gosh, you say the
sweetest (so glad I'm on yo list :)) thangs! I shall not
forget these words. I shall place them in my "writer's
block bank". And when that disease comes to visit me,
I shall defy the ole evil spirit with these heah words
dat you gave me. Words are a powerful medium for bringing
poets out of the darkest hell. Thus, I write, that I
may set a captive free. Thank you Elayne...love ya gurl.
P.S. How's dat book comin'? I know it takes time.

Ms Listerscribin': O' painter of love...thou hast honored me with the
presence of kind words. Thank you for your show of
love and appreciation. I shall keep sribin' and I
want you to do the same. Your ability to paint
love scenes without the use of vulgar words or terms
is nuthin' less than beautiful...that's what love is.
I shall always admire that in you sistah gurl.
