A Late Spring Literary Thing!
Sponsored by the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library

The first author panels will be at Central Library on Friday, May 31,
2002. Time 1--3:30 P.M.

The second session will be at the Glendale branch, from 6--8:30 P.M.

There will be three local poets:

There will be nine authors (6), locals are listed first.
Crystal Rhodes, author of 'Sin'.
Catherine McGee-Livers, author of 'The Biblical History Of Black
Mankind'.
Francine Yates has a work in progress, and will read from it.
Delores Thornton, author of 'Babe' 'Ida Mae' and the
upcoming 'Anybody Seen Junebug?'
Margaret Cobb, author of 'Are You Mrs. Or Mis(s)Understood?'
Hetty Gray, author of 'Net Prophet: The Bill Garret Story'

Just a note that the 'First Annual Self-Published/Small Press
Awards', will toast its winners next week. Marvin V. Arnett, Althea
Christina Hughes and jessica Care moore. We hope to see a lot of you
at the SPA Banquet, at the Langston Library, where none other than
Parry 'EbonySatin' Brown will be our keynote speaker! Come dressed to
kill! This affair will be filled with Class; semi-formal to formal.
Put on your very best, you won't be overdressed for this one folks.
There will be honors bestowed, a fancy feast and a wonderful program.
