Beautifully depicted. Two friends of mine were heavy set until they went thru a divorce. They lost wight and decided to exercise along with it to deal with the stress of their divorce. Gurl they look good though one of them is still going thru bouts of pain and bitterness. Your haiku here details their broken hearts to the nth degree.

I've seen a friend go through divorce & mimick the same things that you indicate your friends have with the weight loss and stuff... however, unfortunate as it may have been, my friend was not doing the "exercise & get healthy" type of stuff, it was clearly a direct affect on her mental ... she sort of lost herself behind the dissolution of marriage... it was sad... however, since then she's picked her self up off of the sidewalk & has been great!!
