Hey Yall ... Kemetstry ... after making it possible to upload larger files, allowing us to upload video wasn't a lot more to do! Check this video out of my daughter, SmartGurl. I'm uploading it with her permission of course! :)

We can all do this ... makes no difference if it is sound or video!

Currently the settings will accept .mpg or .mpeg.

Bishop ... this .mpg file was made with a digital camera, not a web cam (hmmmm I guess a webcam is a digital camera of sorts). I don't know if a web cam allows you to save the video. We have a Sony Mavica and in addition to creating still photos it allows for the creation of a few seconds of video. I think most digital cameras do this now.

Was really usiing this thread to show the capability of our new forum ... for those that want to take advantage of it. :)

Again, a beautiful daughter with beautiful singing. Not sure why she's still performing "at home".

Actually, the webcams record video, and the video can be uploaded to websites and e-mail. Not sure if the webcam video will work here, but I'll give it a test run, using an old clip. Doubtful it will look as sharp as the digital cam video clip, but we'll see. I've shot video at various functions, but the recordings have been collecting dust, for I get too frustrated each time I attempt to connect the camera to the computer. Can't seem to get it figured out. I have a Firewire Card that I believe I have to install as well, and it has never even been opened, but I bought it when I bought the camera. Just looking at that thing, I get discouraged. I'm definitely not trying to have to open the computer to get the stuff together.

O.K., the extension for my webcam clips is ".avi", and it will not upload here. If you don't already own a webcam, don't go out and purchase one just to get on Destee's Talent Explosion! Webcams won't cut it--too low-tech. :laugh:
