For B ....

she wants to have the anointing and
bless the sick with her touch
or even cause the lame to walk
when her shadow passes by
she studies the Word and knows
that greater things than these
we shall do
in His name

she cries in the night for other
peoples' pain, not thinking
about herself and the healing
she stands in need of

I have her back, though

she doesn't know the countless
prayer warriors on their knees
from east to west who lift her up
before His throne

she loves strong, and long
and there's so much salt inside
her tears...so many tears
inside her eyes...
so many things her eyes have
seen...

she prays for me ~ her sadness
multiplied by any and everyone she loves
who suffers pain

even her unspoken prayers

His will shall be done
and joy will meet her
by morning

frustrating when we think about all our loved ones who are sick, even unto death ~ and how we would give anything to be able to administer a simple touch and make them whole again. Makes me question my faith sometimes. But I also know that God works His miracles so His glory will be revealed, that none of us can boast. So I just continue to pray for strength to accept His will in all things.

Thank you for this, dearest one. :)
