LOS ANGELES - As the world mourned the loss of a pop icon, police wanted to speak with the private cardiologist who was with Michael Jackson in his last minutes and pumped his chest in a bid to save his life.
Police said they had towed Murray’s car from Jackson’s rented mansion because it could contain medication or other evidence.
The coroner’s office said Jackson was taking some unspecified prescription medication.
Records reveal years of financial troubles for Murray - Jackson’s physician for three years - including $400,000 in court judgments slapped on his Nevada medical practice. He faces at least two other pending cases. He also was hit with a $3,700 judgment for failing to pay child support in a San Diego case. Murray did not return phone calls placed to his Nevada office yesterday.
