How much does a memory weigh?
Tons upon tons upon a bewildered mind.
How long does a feeling last?
Eons of eternity’s new days in a broken heart.
How deep is the deepest fall in love?
To deep; upon deep.
A trillion leagues beneath the deep blues sea.
Girl, take of your shoes!
Get out of my heart and head so I can embrace my today and live for tomorrow.
The past. The memory of your smile, your cries,
your ejaculatory whimper all still ring in the ear of my soul.
Silence! Be silent! I cry from within but even in the still of the moment
I feel the gentle press of your nails into my back; your soft touch on my brow.
Take off yours shoes!
Stop trampling the memory chords of my preoccupied mind.
Why must you continue to dance a melody to euphoric proportions
and keep the fresh scent of your love in my nostrils and raise a rise the only
your exotic freedom could raise?
Please take of your shoes!
In you. In the memories of my mind I feel the red hot heat of our passion.
I sense a soothing orange that fades to a sad blue as we sit before a yellow
sunrise on the horizon of recollection, reminiscence, and retrospection.
Why are you still wearing your shoes?
Tons upon tons upon a bewildered mind.
