Thank you for that time-line rundown on the Bible!

Actually, thank you, for all your input on Christianity.

You see, when I first came into this sub-forum, I thought it was a place for Christians to discuss Christianity. But, I have since learned that it not the case at all.

So, since you are an authority on Christianity, the floor is all yours.

However, when you exhaust your expertise here, I do hope you give the same attention to the other religions/beliefs here (Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, and ATR) as well.

And I see that you have no want of "disciples" in this "examination" of Christianity.

So, obviously, you have no need for my Christian views and beliefs because, seemingly, your purpose here (and that of others) is to tell me what is wrong with Christianity and why my faith is faulty.

So, again, the floor is all yours. Do whatcha do.

And when you get through DISSECTING Christianity, please go do the same for Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, and ATR.

I believe only "premium members" can do that, Nasheed.

However, I don't think he has because I didn't see one thread by him in the ATR sub-forum. If I missed it, please give me a link.

Actually, please give me a link for his critiques/explanations on ALL of the other belief systems here: Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism.

7. John Wycliff's First complete version of the Old and New Testament 1382.

8. Moses ben Maimonides Talmud 1460 a.d. Official translation of the 5 books of Moses according to Moses ben Maimonides of Spain.

10. Saint Eramus Version of the Holy Bible 1516 a.d. Written in greek.

11. William Tyndale Vesion 1535 a.d. the first English language version used for further translations.

12. Miles Coverdale version 1535 a.d. wriiten in english as a tribute to King Henry VIII of Great Britain.

17. King James version 1611 a.d. written by subjects of King james of Great Britain to satisfy conditions set down by himself and the royalty of his realm...particularly those aspects that allowed him to continue his polygamous and homosexual behaviour. (more on this later)

18. English revised version 1885 a.d. a revision of the King James version by Europeans and Americans. This was the first time that europeans and Americans were allowed to participate in further distortions of the original teachings as passed and stolen from our ancestors in Africa.

So just what version are you reading and how many times does the so called "word have to be refined?"

It is so interesting how "GOD'S word" can go through so many transformations and maintain integrity. I think of the game "whispering down the lane" knowing full well that by the time the message gets to the end of the line, it is NOTHING like what was started.

I wonder what the original one said:?:
What similarities or differences exist:?:

Has anyone read the original one and are there significant differences:?:

Have you seen the original bible Keita or know of what was written then:?:
