Some people feel that Michael Jordan should have his own enshrinement day at the Basketball Hall of Fame instead of sharing a day with his fellow inductees because of his greatness as a player and his importance to the game of basketball . What do you think?

I had voted on this a few days ago and my reply was YES !!! because he will outshine
everyone else this way they can shine bright without all the attention on one man
MJ .....yes he should is how i feel about it !

peace

as much as he is talked about & every new upcoming talent is compared to him it seems everyday is MJ day already....

I think he will soon get a "day", probably something to do with All-star weekend or thereabouts.....

yes, yes, and I don't even watch :bball:, but after seeing a DVD about what this man brought to the game, I hands down gotta vote in the affirmative. He inspires me to believe in myself!

MJ brought new meaning to the game that set him apart from the rest
he was the big show and the breath taker by leap and bound and well
should have his very own day as he is headed into the Basketball hall of Fame

love mj .. but i grew up during a time when it was the celts and the lakers every year ..

byrd and magic

prior 2 dat dr. j ... all day

i think the difference is that the nba went from team play to str8 run and gun..

when u have just one person shining so much u forget about scottie pippen...
and all the rest of the greats ...

i say give him his day but not because of the way he play'd but in honor of his father may he rest in peace.. his motivation to become a better player after he was cut in high school... and for going home to his wife and family....

no doubt i play street ball...

let's not 4get the goat ya'll

there's so many great ball players that didn't make it...

and let's make a motion to reduce the price of air jordan's .... i sure had all of em..... buck ten mayne...

MJ would rather be part of the "team"

so i would have said NO, but you make a great point mr. CHI

MJ will OUTSHINE whoever else so in that respect

i would agree

i thinking would i feel the same for the NFL hall of fame cermony

if a player needed a "special" day but i would have to say NO in the NFL

but here i think it's appropiate

i have tapes from the 90's and i was watching them about 2 years ago

and man when you watch these tapes MJ moves at a different speed

then EVERYONE else on the court, but doing then time he was plenty

i didn't realize he was THAT fast, i know he was great

but when i watch this tape is was like he was playing against 6 yr olds

:terrific:

while mj is the greatest of all time[so far]he should go in with the others who played the game, you don't set one apart at this time because the[hall of fame]is about greatness and those who get in shouldn't be slighted, even by mj.

while i agree , but at the same time entering he would outshine any other player beside him
taking all the glory , let him in by himself and the next man would have a share to shine like mike.....
