Wrapped up in plastic
The brown pages kept from the air
Afraid of crumbling

So many stories
Hist’ry in books, magazines
Written on earth’s trees

We,also earth’s trees
Molded and shaped human beings
Turn again to dust

Sweet creative sap
Embracing all seasons – Flow
Stand in consciousness

Stark limbs of winter
The branches lost all feeling
Iced quills lie in wait

And then comes the thaw
Rainbow buds are blossoming
In petals of ink

Refuge from the sun
The willow weeps as it reads
His emotive words

Anticipating...
Magenta leaves cascade down
My journal awaits...

Watzinaname WOW
beautiful the haiku gleams
trees shudder with joy

each stanza rings bold
so many colors unfold
your pen sprinkles seeds

i loved your stretching
the thought and care of the piece
earth trees are at peace

wow watzinaname
we all await your journal
anticipating........

A breeze blows gently
A page out of her journal
opens, and it reads

There are those poets
With shovels at the ready
Often... they dig deep

Turning the rich soil
Planting the seeds, then waiting
For spring to arrive

Other scribes take root
Sensing that it's time to grow
Compelled to flourish
