Your in a relationship and you know that "the thrill is gone" but you find out that either you or your partner is pregnant. Do you stay and try the family thing while at the same time trying to re-spark the flame?? Or do you think of alternative ways to dis-associate yourself with them and end the relationship?

but u can look at it in two wayz
yes if da spark is gone then move on
yet be there for da child .......but if u see
any light then set da stage and try to work
things out sometime it works and try da
family thang ........i do have more on this !!!
after my flight i'll be back to spell out more.:)

Johnny Taylor. " It's CHEAPER TA KEEP HER!!

When its over, keep your head down. Your heart up.
And your mind focused on the future. Kids grow UP !!

As adults they honor whats right or they don't. People who stay past due destroy their kids chances for a healthy stable enviornment. Kids be in the street tryin to be known..bein raised all too often by other kids out in the same street bein known..
By the dealers the cops and the fowl vipers that prey on them:eek:

I suggest recalling what ignited the fire in the beginning and work from there...

there are many exeptions to this rule but most children thrive in a two parent household...

Afri ........that's true but i have seen some from a single home
make it coz they had good home trainning to this point
sometime da spark is gone u can't lite a fire on wet paper but
i have known if ya heart is still their then there is hope and for
the children sake things work out .......like da Jordan family
they still have it in heart to work things out but most females
don't look back coz when there minds mad up it ova fo sho
now a brutha he will look back again & again this is true
we don't wanna amit it now a sistah will look ova da problem
and see if it's worthy......I say in order for it to work and
getting back together even when da fire goes out it gotta come
from da heart and not out of guilt or some passion or feelin
sorry for the other mate and it's sad how so many break da
vows made under GODS watchful eye and da children see this
yes it will affect them in a very big way......we gotta stop
breaking the laws on this and if ya committed to he/she then
try to work it out if not move on!

First let me start off by saying thanks to $$Rich$$, Kemetstry, Tophat, and Afridancr for commenting on this particular issue.

I feel that if it's over than it's over....no need to sit and try to ignite a flame that has been douced. I think it's a bad thing when someone stays for the sence of " It's cheaper to keep her" cause it usually end's in infidelity and the backlash of that can be more severe than a simple breakup. At the same token it's not a good thing if you have child and either parents evades responsilibity. And I am not just talking about men....cause women do it too!!!

Dang Tophat....Why momma's and b****'s gotta be in it together. What gives you the right to call a woman a b****?? And since you say that mommas are in it together is your mom considered to be a b****? How is it that so many men are quick to use that word when it comes to the women that bring life into this world. Remember that a WOMAN brought you here also and you should respect them a little more than that.....I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone calling your mother, sister, aunt, or daughter a b****. And on another note...if more men would take responsibility for their actions there would be not be such a problem...

As I stated before. My personal treatment of women is a direct result of my mothers influence. That is why I have never struck a
woman.;):) However there have been situations where a woman
would slide on it and the same action by a man would leave him layin there:eek: When a woman acts like a man I will treat em thata way:eek: Equal rights OR special treatment? which one do ya want? I know the awnser so does everyone else. You are a
woman so you want BOTH!!! not you as a person as I can;t speak for you. But I general terms Yeah:kiss: BYE

I Hear the "unmentionable B word" Everyday! From WOMEN!!!
They be sayin it loud and proud like its a badge of honor:eek:
Same wit da "N" word. Semantics THATS all it is. These words
provoke different responces in different people. WE ALL KNOW
THIS:o However this is AMERICA where the Rights guarrenteed
by the constitution are modified by the person in power at the
time. When there is criminal activity, malaice etc yes use the
power on the offender:cool:

But when that power is abused by good people with good intentions the results are the same. The owner can do whatever she wants I b down with that. No problem. No gun
at my head forceing me to particapate.
$$rich$$ my man it must be cold in the chi town your last post looked like ub all shakein:toast:

or lack of senseativity for anothers emotional trauma. ETC an on
like dat. Sometimes i stir it up:D never with malace.
I am opinionated on most things. I speak my piece then I'm done.
I listen to others opinions and adjust mine if I feel it on my insides
 other than that I'm just a slingin! :toast:

Tophat said: I Hear the "unmentionable B word" Everyday! From WOMEN!!!]They be sayin it loud and proud like its a badge of honor

I think the "B" word is just like the "N" word. Those who fall in the appropriate minority category generally have first priority to use it, even if it is a controversial word. The same way black people will use the "N" word but get mad when a white person uses it, i would be more offended hearing the "B" word from a man than a fellow woman.

Also this reality makes sense because when a white person says the "N" word, people would assume they were insulting the entire race, rather than one individual person. If a man calls me the "B" word, instead of wanting to respond as someone being insulted on a personal level (as when a woman uses the word), I would respond with anger on behalf of my entire gender.:o
