View Full Version : Black People : Obama bashers
Zulile 01-24-2009, 06:02 PM I find it rather... remarkable.. reading posts from Black people Bashing Obama. Usually they are the same folk who question his 'blackness', yet keep questioning what he will do, or not do, for Black people. I mean, it is one thing to criticize the President, but to put a Black spin on it seems... insane... as we all seem to agree he is not a Black Leader in the activist sense, but an American Leader.
His image alone has an effect on Black people, regardless of his political stance/actions - so is the Bash Obama purpose to remind us that he's not all he's cracked up to be? To remove blinkers? To ensure no Black person falls under the illusion that he's any different from the rest of Washington?

Sorry sis, It has an affect on some. Not me.I was raise to not hero worship or idolize anyone outside of my home.:great: I supported and voted for him as a brother. but hear this..... ANYONE, (including my Dad) does not do things to help AFRIKAN people in this country... I will blast that A@@. that makes them No better than the YT's that have been screwing us for 400 years in this wilderness. Again, my dear Z, I (unlike 99% of the johnny come latelys) supported him (and cynthia) from the jump. I was/am willing to give him a chance. but I owe him ZERO if he does comes in and looks out stictly for OUR enemy. However, I DO wish him safety and good health for he and his family of AFRIKANS. BTW, Like I said before, if you needed Obama getting elected to help your self esteem... maybe you need to revisit said self esteem.
Jahari Kavi 01-24-2009, 06:13 PM To ensure no Black person falls under the illusion that he's any different from the rest of Washington?
this is my primary reason for doing it. At least with Bush we knew what was coming towards us.....On top of that I really do have big concerns with his foreign policy...we're already seeing the shifting focus to pakistan, israel is a given, and I still wonder about russia (brenzinski) and iran.....A foreign attack on american soil is something that stays on my mind.........And when speaking of his image we have to remember that Obama represents all black americans internationally. A few missteps on global foreign policy and we can see a backlash towards african americans throughout the international community...

Then you must be mad at an awful lot of "Black" folks. Because many of us here have done less in their lives than Obama when he lived out here on the south side.

This was about brother Obama and myself not giving ANYONE a free pass when it comes to doing the right thing by US! I have not voted for a whitey in 20+ years, cause i expected nothing from them. And I am NOT a sheep, I dont follow blindly. As i said it is BIGGER thna Obama. I still wish him well and good health. And his fam too.

if someone tries to snap another loved one out of their hypnosis, is that not tough love....?
if one see's another being hoodwinked or scammed is it not that brother or sisters duty to point it out?
I would not call that Bashing, i call that love.......because the one pointing it out already knows they will be ill spoken of by the one they are trying to awake.....
kinda like trying to get a family member or friend off of drugs...
you can't just tell 'em to Just say NO to "change"...sometimes you have to empty their pockets of all their coins for them............
Metaverse 01-24-2009, 11:08 PM I wouldn't expect those in the community with a long history of "decoding" politics and politicians to suddenly lose their footing because we have a "another" Black politician in office. Those who accuse most Black people of emotionalism would be hypocrites for doing so.
However.
I do agree that if Black America indeed wanted a "Black" President, this is definitely your Man. Mathematically speaking, Blacks CAN NOT elect an American President- Black or otherwise alone. So in order to have a Black President even by the law of statistics he must show more praise towards the White ruling class first as a majority. I'm not sure how much clearer that fact has to be for people to understand it but it seems to go over many heads.
Tupac said we were not ready to see a Black President. His words still ring true and still misinterpreted. He never said we wouldn't have a Black President. He said we are not ready to see one. What aren't we ready to see? What this Man would have to do to become President is one of them, and two the duties of this President. Ironically, that line comes from the song "Changes." Pac was killed because he believe we should form our own political party- free from "their" control.
Should Black thinkers stop speaking against the American political system because we have a Black Man in the office of President of the United States? Let's ask that question differently. Should African people stop questioning their own Black leaders? Africa can be divided in 50 or more states just as well, each one ruled by its own President put into power by Europeans.
I would never say Obama is not Black enough. Obama is as mixed as Bob Marley. I would say his sudden rise is very questionable. Alton Maddox also did a lecture on this issue. Very interesting that even Alton Maddox knows more than most of our people.
Obama has never told us anything different outside the speeches of both Al Gore and John Kerry. He has melody and poetry, we can give him that. And honestly- he could flip the script on those he might be working for. Leave that as a possibility- but never say something is impossible especially if it's your own emotionalism that is blinding you. If we are supposed to be critical thinkers then we are bound to certain rules of thought.
As I stated in another thread, Obama is a Kenyan. Born in Kenya not Hawaii. How would I know this for sure? Hawaii is number 1 on the list for counterfeit degrees and diplomas. I've worked with people with fake birth certificates from Hawaii and degrees! Look it up!! 2nd, Obama was a home birth so there was no documentation for it in Kenya. Besides that in Luo tribe the tribe itself keeps written record of the babies born. Even Obama's Brother slipped out and said he was born in Kenya right on the news for the world to hear and somehow it slips passed the mainstream mind?
Come'on people.
Celebrate it for what it is, but don't celebrate it for what it's not.
But just to see who is awake and who is asleep ZzZzzzzz.
During the inauguration, when Obama finally used his middle name "Hussein" to swear in...do you really think Chief Justice John Roberts messed up the swearing in because he was nervous? The Man is old but not stupid.
Obama: "I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear ..."
Roberts: "... that I will execute the office of president to the United States faithfully ..."
Obama: "... that I will execute ..."
Roberts: "... faithfully execute the office of president of the United States ..."
Obama: "... the office of president of the United States faithfully ..."
Keyword is execute, this is where Obama's pause is. Roberts was given him a command. Don't hit the snooze button just yet....watch the movie again first.
This time it stars Denzel Washington.

The elephant people hope, for the next four years to bash this man until we abandon him. In spite of the fact that not only he, but the rest of the Democratic party, soundly trounced them. The actually believe their loss and this failing economy is a PR situation. The fact that since 1980, they have pretty much had their way with the Reaganomic economy, seems lost on them. They were successfully able to virtually eliminate all union and other decent paying jobs from this country. In the process, this right sizing as they like to call it, has destroyed the middle class as we grew up to know it. As the unions rightly predicted, once you got rid of those jobs, who would then pay for the cars, washing machine and refridgerators that keep the economy going? The answer is loud and clear. It is now being said, we are not in a recession, but in fact, a depression. Though the technical reaching of it hasnt happened yet, the entire country may soon have a double digit unemployment rate. Which is one of the factors in determining a depression. We thus will be unable to assume that wages will hold steady. Thus the following, which even the right wingers fear may soon occur. The deflation of prices and wages. We can not sustain million of jobs being lost a year and maintain our standard of living.
Yet the elephant people and their antichrist minions persist in their tirade about a man, who's finger prints are nowhere on this economy. They think the public will buy it. I think they will only succeed in reminding people what really brought us to this day. THEM! So let them continue their tirade and hollow boasts. It will only serve to get Barack a 2nd term in the long run

my problem with all the decoding is that much of it is not grounded in truth. my other problem is that a lot of these young black folks view themselves as "conscious" and everyone else is what? comatose? I find that highly insulting. and that is not you, I like you actually, and like your opinions. and you can say we cannot elect a president because it is statistically impossible, but all Obama needs is 35% of white voters, he is not liked by the majority of whites, it was Latinos and Blacks that gave him the elections. you know something I recommend this to you, listen closely to white people. if you would just listen you would know that they are scared of us more than you know...the are not going to be a majority for very long. you need to listen closely a shift in power in this country is coming. it is coming...I have been watching, waiting, listening, and our time is coming. and Obama is just one small step for us.
i have nothing but love for Obama and wish him the best. it is bad enough how many whites want him dead, and it is only when one of them kill him when black people will rush to his defense. as for the manchurian candidate, you need to watch the movie closely, charisma and mind control of a candidate do not go hand in hand. if anyone was using mind control and stage craft it was the sarah palin and mccain crowd, and If I had time I could dig for some very specific examples.

preach it, the amount of times they called Obama the anti-Christ, they called him the messiah, they sang about the magic Negro, they pray for his failure, they keep asking him if he will be moving in his mother in law in the white house, they go after Michelle, they lie on him left and right. they called him terrorist, muslim, fake birth certificate, they fumbled his oath, they have on 3 separate occasions plots on his life. did you notice Obama didn't campaign in the deep south too much, or in the Appalachians? you must know that it was too dangerous right? everything to destroy and discredit him, if he is so ineffective then why are all the republicans so scared? Keita Kenyatta 01-25-2009, 09:38 AM Lets get this straight. I am an Obama basher, cut and dry. The next question should be, "WHY"?
1. In my first work entitled; Pulling No Punches which was published in 1994, I predicted that a black man such as Obama would rise and be presented as our leader that we should follow and support. Mind you, Obama was only 31 or 33 at the most when I wrote that.
2. This means that I was looking at and had studied enough politics and the movement of the "White Power Structure" to understand how they were moving and what chess pieces they needed in order to stay in power.
3. History teaches one conclusive lesson regardless of the civilization, both past and present...and that's that; "The Masses Are Never Right". Now we as thinkers are suddenly supposed to fall in line with the masses just because they have spoken, when in reality they never spoke at all. They have acted out of desperation, despair and fear for a system that they saw as failing or destroying their concept of life...but the last thing they did was TO THINK.
4.Obama isn't thinking about helping white people, black people, red people or any other people. His agenda is America and the saving of it. The problem is that, America was flawed from the start. The house was burning from the start. The documents upon which it was built was flawed from the start...so only a blind person would seek to save such a nation.
5. If the nation is based and built upon racism, white supremacy, the few controlling the masses and the exploitation of others for the prosperity of the nation, then the charter of America is a charter that was flawed from the start. The body of America needs more than a blood transfusion. The very heart needs to be replaced, the kidneys need to come out, a new stomach must be replaced and all the vital organs that were infected from the beginning must be replaced.
6. Black people were in the royal house of Europe when it began. Black people were in the formation of America when it began. Black people were part of the rise and fall of Black/African nations and empires of the past and present. We therefore must look beyond skin to see the very mind, heart, actions and intentions of those we define as Black/African.
Now For The Raw Truth !!!!
America and Europe can not continue to prosper without the exploitation of African land and people. America and Europe can not continue to prosper without the exploitation of Arabia. America and Europe can not continue to prosper without the exploitation Mexico, South America, India and all "so called under-developed" nations and people to produce clothes, diamonds, computer parts and the list goes on. America and Europe can not continue to prosper without the so called poor peoples and countries which are the dumping grounds for the contaminants, garbage, nuclear waste and poisons of America and Europe.
I consider myself a common man. Obama is not a common man. He is a man of political power, knowledge and information. This means that he knows better than I do what is going on. It means that he knows better than I do who is doing what. It means that he knows better than I do the legacy of death that America and Europe has imposed upon the earth and the peoples upon it. Any person in support to save, defend and promote the legacy of Europe and America as the standard of life is not only my enemy, but an enemy of African peoples and nations everywhere on the globe.
Obama is a good thing for the African American because the African American is nothing more than the white man in black skin....as Malcolm said and as the good slave said; "Master, is we sick"? "Master, our house is burning". "Master, weez got a mighty good plantation here". Well in the words of my favorite club record; "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire...I don't give a d@mn let the mother f@cker burn !!
hiphopolx 01-25-2009, 09:53 AM all of you are doing a good thing here. And I'm refering to both opposing perspectives.

Metaverse 01-25-2009, 01:32 PM OnTyme- you've made very interesting points. I was just speaking with an Elder from Kenya and he also gave me some interesting insight about what is going here from his view- which I found to be extraordinary. He told me he was confused. I asked him why.
"These Black nationalists in America confuse me. One minute they are preaching against white and black unions and relationships, and on the other hand they are praising Obama who is a product of a black and white union."
I realized he was very sincere when he said he was confused. It turns out, he happened to be a Professor and was actually trying to pick my brain trying to see if I saw what was really happening here. He goes on to say:
"Obama came out of a white woman did he not? So why are they calling him a sell out, a child is more loyal to the Mother than the Father is he not? Is this true or am I making it up? So why is he a sell out? But here is the thing. Did any of these Blacks here in America give a dime or dollar for his schooling?"
I thought about his question. And I answered- No.
"Then Black America cannot produce an Obama, so why do they celebrate him? Why do they celebrate something that they cannot produce? Obama did not come from the same hardships as most Blacks in America. He is not a product of the same system that most Black Americans face day to day. The advantages Obama has is because of whites and not blacks. His advantages is not because he is a Kenyan, its despite it. Yes many Kenyans celebrate Obama because they expect him to come home and fix their problems, I would love that too! But it is unrealistic. Blacks here also expect the same. And it is still unrealistic. Obama will continue to stay loyal to those that provided him safe passage from an otherwise suffering life that other Kenyans, Africans and Blacks face in the world. He will not let them down. He would rather die before he does that."
I found this Elders opinion very interesting. Now, it is true that not everyone is studying this for what it is. Some "decoders" are not coming from a political level, metaphysical or spiritual level, they come from the level of experience. Can we say ones own experience is not truth?
America is a corporation. Obama is now the President of this corporation. A President cannot operate outside the boundaries of it's employer. Obama will say he works for the American people but that is a lie. It is a lie based upon his job description. Put it this way. If you owned a corporation and appointed a President, would you expect your President to say anything different if it means making a sale and gaining the trust of investors? Sales people are paid to lie. Most politicians are nothing more than high-profile Sales Associates. Lawyers sell a story to a jury.
But here is something you will never hear out of Obama's mouth because he works for the corporation and not the American people. All people in America are sovereign. Your name (spelled in all caps), your social security number is what they call a "straw-man" as long as you continue to associate yourself with it, the more power they have over you. There are laws that govern corporations, and your name when it is spelled in all caps- make you part of the American corporation IE a slave of the company, a product.
Obama would never tell us to declare our sovereignty would he? Why? Wouldn't it make sense if Blacks America feel so disenfranchised by the system that we should be doing that on a collective level? Who knew there are "common law courts" in America that deal with just that?
Some of us are "conscious" not because there is more power among the conscious than the un-conscious, but instead conscious people STUDY. Some of us are what- 10-20 years deep into these studies? 30 years? Most of you are scraping information off the surface and viewing it as truth. The truth is never on the surface.
If you want something to study- review the political life of Major David Dinkins in NY. His election as Major of New York City was just as significant as Obama's election. There was celebration there as well. People in New York also saw it was an end to racism. Hope was in their eyes then too.
http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2007/10/28/amd_daviddinkins.jpg
He was "selected" to end the racial tension that was going on in NYC at that time. Read and study what happened to Mayor Dinkins and perhaps then you'll understand how this game is played.
Jahari Kavi 01-25-2009, 01:48 PM I respect someone's decision to be pro-Obama, but I'm beginning to question why folks get angry just, because people bring up valid critiques of the man? He did work in his community.....well that's good, but that still doesn't mean that he is above criticism. To top it off I see points being raised about his stance on foreign policy and his cabinet selections, and not one die hard Obama supporter has brought up any legitimate reasons on why I shouldn't be concerned about these things. All I hear are answers like "he did work for his community" (well he's a politician isn't that sorta his job??) or "give him a chance".....I'm sick of giving chances to politicians with gigantic question marks surrounding them, because more often than not those question marks become answers and those answers hurt and exploit people all throughout the globe.

This reminds me of something I saw on C-Span the other day. A black woman was speaking about how most blacks in america think nothing about black mayors in the 21st century, and she said there would be a day when we would have that same attitude about black presidents. Which brings me to the point of the ability of Obama to change the mentality of little black boys in america. I honestly don't believe that is true. While everyone was pumped for tuesday, soon that hype will die down and we will all get back to reality.......

roarin1 01-25-2009, 06:22 PM OnTyme- you've made very interesting points.

(I'M just gonna jump in here for a second.)
Such is a wise professor.
Except, I take 'occasion' with the good professor's broad-stroking labeling of 'Black Nationalist' as in a damnable way. I could say, 'what Black Nationalist?' Not ME....for sure. However, such is the reason that soon, I will dust off and re-fresh MY original thread 'Obuma the Mulatto' because even now, the scholars are begining to remove the sweet salve of sleep from the eye's of OUR People, that maybe WE'LL 'see' again.
The good professor also refered to the Cancelatura in His observation's, which is a deeply rooted Black Nationalist Agenda, as to it's support.
WE should open OUR eye's.

KWABENA 01-25-2009, 07:54 PM 1. Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick of Detroit was under fire. For what purpose? Do your research and find out.
2. Mayor Sheila Dixon of Baltimore was recently under fire. For what purpose? Do your research and find out.
3. Secretary Alphonso Jackson had to resign his position as Head of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). For what purpose? Do your research and find out.
By the way, all of whom I named are/were Black folks in Government. I suppose that if I were to look into any of these cases then bring my results here to the Destee Family to share with you all, I would be labeled a "Kilpatrick basher" or "Dixon basher" or "Jackson basher."
I do not see where the bashing is taking place. I am being bombarded with clues, questions, things that make me suspect, things that make me curious, things that make me skeptical everyday that cause me to stand against the Obama Administration. You are telling me that just because someone has a black face, we must restrict all intentions to see them for who they really are and just go along with their message and agenda? That would make me even more curious of the man - what's with all of the emotional protection for him? I just don't get it. If you know that he is "clean," means well and with undeniable evidence can show and prove that he is the "change" that will take place, regardless of what anyone says or does to or about him, then what is with the emotional outrage? If you know he is innocent, and with "hope" he will make things happen, why pay so much attention to the so-called "Obama bashers?"
I will leave it at that, but my point is, if all that some of us bring here is rhetoric and non-sense, then let it be. Obviously if something is senseless and worthless, it wouldn't bother you.
OK i'm done - back to the thread.

Right, and most corporations have a Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, let alone the fact that there are also corporations who own corporations. Anyone with a thorough enough Business background should know that. A President of a corporation is not exactly "King Kong" and does not possess as much power as people think. They have someone who they must answer to, who has someone they must answer to, who has someone they must answer to. Hence, they carry out and execute the duties of someone, who executes the duties of someone, who executes the duties of someone. That is just how infrastructure works!
Politics in America is nothing short of a game of strategy. Better yet - all 9 areas of people activity (Economics, Education, Labor, Law, Politics, Religion, Sex, War) are games of strategy! The most strategic liar (I mean lawyer), politician, entertainer who can sell the best strategy wins!

are you racially pure? i am not, i have indian (from the far east) and white, and black in me. are you sure your racially pure? cause i highly doubt it. I don't have very dark skin, I am still proud and strong and Black...how awful...
is Obama less of a man because he is not racially pure? if that is so then I should just bow my head and weep for my family, for my neices and nephews that fully half white and black. I love them...you don't think he would have loved to have a black dad there for him? that dead beat loser left him. i don't celebrate him. the man went up in a white women left her high and dry, and she did her best. Obama himself was on drugs for years crying and in search of an identity. How could black nationalists be so **** Cruel. My brother is raising his half black kids by himself. how **** awful and cruel, and evil. I give up. truly....
how could you be so pro evolution, and pro diversity, and pro the mother africa, and how all other races came from her. how on earth do you think other races came to be? huh? natural selection and black nationalism have a lot against each other you realize that right? wow.
Ionlyspeaktruth 01-25-2009, 08:39 PM folk. You must be a flippin fool to BLINDLY follow ANYBODY! WTH? Well, any of you that feel this way are a Potential Jim Jones FOOL! This garbage that Obama should not reach down and help AFRIKANS is Slave thinking at its finest! SMH! See, this is why I get disheartened with this site at times. I cannot believe that folks wanna give ANYONE a free pass!!!:thinking: I am sure though that those Bildenberg YTs in Obamas admin are happy to hear/read this RUBBISH! In closing: you know why a sheep is thought to be a STUPID animal? because it can be led right off a cliff! Try and swish that around any of you that refuse to use your Afrikan minds.:thinking::cuss::cuss: This is dedicated to ANYONE who thinks like a SHEEP! To the free thinkers... thank you.:coffee:
phynxofkmt 01-25-2009, 09:09 PM my problem with all the decoding is that much of it is not grounded in truth. my other problem is that a lot of these young black folks view themselves as "conscious" and everyone else is what?
I feel this too, the shift you speak of. Brother Akil spoke of the changing of the guard in his book From Ni**as to Gods Pt II, and he said we would have to be ready to step into our positions of leadership. The world of politics is one sphere amongst many, such as education, that will require leaders to come forward and fill these roles.
I agree with your post in it's entirety - well said!:bowdown::bowdown:

emanuel goodman 01-25-2009, 09:41 PM Those who know about this real ity being a product of a design process .understand the cruel game that is using us as the main characters at this moment in vibration. those of us who know not belive understand that we have not made any progress in actuality we reached our lowest point of regression in which we have become a mananger of one of the high offices in a reality that they have created. We once were designers of reality and now we are informed of it. any way, This current craze was well though out and orchestrated decades ago and now what was once in some ones image nation has manifested before our eyes. There are those whom ignore him displaying the baphomet by not I. There are those whom will turn a blind I to him professing love for the almighty father but not I. However what is also realistic is the hold that is on the belivers, This hold is strong if one controls the belivers one can control the herd and become thier shepard. The belivers are the power source the country draws its energy from the belivers without them it is no thing no parts no sums. I am trying to figrure out how he is going to pull this amero dollar thing off? Putting his buddy in office whom just got fired from harvard is a good start. He had made everything he touched turn sour over the last decade. I am happy at the light in my peoples faces however it sucks to know the real and feel helpless about it ! hetep
Kemetstry 01-26-2009, 12:00 AM Lets get this straight.
*sigh*
So you and only you are the keeper of righteousness? :10100: Cosby was/is right and Obama deserves a chance to prove his worth. Under your views, no black man would ever be right for leadership
.
Kemetstry 01-26-2009, 12:02 AM I respect someone's decision to be pro-Obama, but I'm beginning to question why folks get angry just, because people bring up valid critiques of the man?

Keita Kenyatta 01-26-2009, 11:50 AM First of all, let me straighten something out. For America and black people who love America and who desire to save this country, Obama is a good thing. Make no mistake about that!
My beef is in the idea that the majority of our people are so conditioned that "we only accept and support the same black leaders that white people embrace and support."
This isn't even open for debate. We have as a people had many great black leaders before us in America and abroad...but for some strange reason we never embraced or supported them even though they were working in the interest of our people and for our people. The only problem was that "white folks didn't embrace and support them, and as such neither did we." I guess I'm supposed to take that as a coincidence, huh?
Need I name the great black leaders or can I take it that we have enough common sense to know the people I'm speaking about? The tragic part about all of this is that we act as if our people and our leaders are not supposed to act in "OUR INTEREST ALONE" as other leaders of their people do. For some reason we just got to have a UNIVERSAL LEADER and I'm not feeling that or our mentality as it relates to it.
So if my concerns and interest are exclusively about and for OUR PEOPLE and OUR LAND, which happens to be AFRICA...then anybody, any system or any leader who isn't on that agenda is one I consider to be an enemy if they are supporting a system or government that is exploiting us on those levels. I am sorry that Obama has become part of that system, I really am...and I am furthermore sorry that our people can not, do not or choose not to open their eyes to what I am saying as the truth that it is.

Nasheed 01-26-2009, 03:08 PM about President Obama are 2 entirely different entity's.
He is an intelligent person of colour:
--he convinced YT AmeriKKKa that he would do a better job than McCain
--he made sure to insert himself in every "key" group (TC, CPR, etc.)
--he speaks with authority
--he is very articulate and wtty
--he is very poised
He has a hidden agenda by virtue of his close association w/The Bilderberger Group. And I don't trust him as far as I can throw a rock. This is not bashing -- this is the truth. Mostly, this information falls on deaf ears because most black people live inside wonderland and cannot handle the truth :tweety:

could it be that Obama is pushing this bill behind the scenes? billibergers my behind...

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL 4th District)
9th term Democrat from Illinois 4th District. First elected in 1992. now why would a Latino man be after reparations for black Americans? I contend that someone put him up to it. and even then doesn't make my contention true either

....leave that too the professionals.
Was that Malcolm X face at the end next to Obama? Who is this man, Sa Neter right? It sounds like his voice. I like him, but I am not feeling him on this one at all.
First he is saying that Obama looks like his white grandfather, then he shows at the end that Obama has the same smile as some other man, who he doesn't show because Sa Neter, is trying to sell his video. I do agree that Obama does not look like his father but that doesn't mean it is not his father. Who his father is does make a difference though, when it comes to forein affairs. Wow, Sa Neter may have a very big point but geez, this is all so crazy.
Are Obamas children spooks too?
Astrologer4U 01-26-2009, 08:53 PM As I stated in another thread, Obama is a Kenyan.
I am just curious, is Obamas mother his mother? Is that not in dispute? If she is, I assume that she went to Kenya to give birth to Obama, if that is where Obama was born. If she did go to Kenya, who did she reside with while in Kenya, when she gave birth? Was it Obamas alleged fathers family that she stayed with? These are or should be easy questions to answer if Obama was really born in Kenya.
Astrologer4U 01-26-2009, 09:26 PM "Then Black America cannot produce an Obama, so why do they celebrate him?
If this is true, the bolded part particularly, is Obama even aware of it? Most American blacks, particularly the black men, who think that white people are the reason for their success, they marry white women to show their appreciation to white people for bringing them up to a certain status. A status that they feel they would not have, if not for white people allowing them to appeal to them. Obama married a black woman, so is he even aware? Or is he being set up to have to only look out for white people because he came from a white woman and white people in general are responsible for his success...
I read somewhere where he gave the credit for his success to his wife and grandmother.
LindaChavis 01-26-2009, 10:18 PM ..really amusing. Why cant Obama "just be" a black man who was intelligent enough to win the highest office in America and here's a thought, make a difference for black folks and in doing so, he will by default have to bring along "all others". Its bad enough we have the Rush Limburgers of the world but our own folks putting the man down and he hasnt been in office a week, its pretty sad. And you can change the name all you want. I am not a Obama basher but I can understand why some black people would be skeptical about his presidency. Me personally, I really don't think he has a choice, he is president for the same reasons as all of the presidents before him, only thing is, he is of African decent.
History has shown that whenever they suddenly give us a black person to be the head of anything, he or she is usually a token and he or she, usually has a purpose and the purpose is not for his or hers people.
It's crazy though, how mixed up everyone is. None of us really know what we are talking about... Heck, I don't even know what I am talking about right this minute. :(

I saw, I think it was David Ike, who had said these same things but he didn't say the part about Obama.
Any way, what Is my perspective, I will get back to you on that one, later on tonight.
Obama is a Leo, supposedly with an Aquarius rising but now his birth time is being disputed, so his rising sign may not be Aquarius.

Metaverse 01-27-2009, 11:22 PM Yes. Let the Man do his job. But guess what. Either way- most Black folks aren't ready for what that means, and it doesn't matter if you're for or against him. Most of us for Obama aren't really listening to his politics. The fact that he's is "one of us" as we say, is a perfect smoke screen.
The real question is, does anyone really know what Obama's job is that he is meant to do?
It's not enough to say we support someone just because he is "one of us"- because we would be true hypocrites for saying such, not after all the Condoleezza Rice bashing that Black folks were happily doing not too long ago. Or did we forget? Condie was the first Black Woman to hold the title of Sectary of State was she not?
And while we can credit Chisholm, Jackson and Sharpton for paving the way for a Black President it was actually Condie Rice and Collin Powell's approval rating around the world that won Obama his seat. Or did we not see Rice traveling around the world speaking with some of the same nations that now approve of Obama?
But we'd bash Rice and Powell because of their relationship with the republican party. At the higher realms of politics those party lines melt away. Hasn't Obama proven that already? Aren't Bill Clinton and Bush Sr. best buds? What we have to realize is that republicans and democrats are different heads on the same body. Sure we love it when democrats are in office! The economy does better, they look out for the little Man- so they say.
It's all strategy. It's a "banking" system. When democrats rein- the cows get fat. When republicans rein the cows get milked or slaughtered. Review American history and see if this is not the case. Nothing that is happening here is new. Franklin D. Roosevelt won in the very same way Obama did for the very same reasons. And to mock the ignorance of most people-Time Magazine even re-did the cover.

I do not doubt the sincerity of Barack and Michelle's love. It still wouldn't mean he would not be loyal to those that opened doors for him, doors that would otherwise be closed. I think it's still business as usual in Washington.

You got a darn, skippy good point there, a darn good skippy one. I never trust anyone who is one race but is yet exclusive to marriage and gating another race. Reeks of disloyalty to say the least so when you say "Smart Black Men" You are right, Just the same way, a smart white man knows how to measure the loyalty and competancy of a black man married to a white woman.

what is crazy is that some of these Obama Bashers are lying through their teeth. I mean lying. Example Obama wasn't born in the US. WHAT? sure, McCain and all his connections in the CIA, NSA couldn't find out that he wasn't born here. Funny John McCain wasn't born in the US but no complaints there...and if everyone is so pro-Africa then why is this problem? seems it is a problem because he is too black on one hand (born in Africa) and not black enough on the other hand. How many other presidents birth certificate has been questioned? NONE...why? because they were white. this reverse racism is despicable...these phony God's can't do nothing for me nor have they, I will let this Man Barack Obama do his best, I am sure he will do a whole lot more. an article debunking the birthers the name of the conspiracy theorists harassing that poor man you know what is funniest it is the white supremacists that are making up the lie about his birth certificate...isn't that a trip. and funny the supreme court sure told them...what's even more amusing is that white republicans in all the liberal blogs are paid to go in and do just what i have been seeing here. you don't suppose blacks could do the same could they? hmmm....i don't doubt it.

yeah i saw that long ago, and anyone will sell out for a dime. why should i believe them? you say hawaii is all the corrupt documents...LOL...
i know Africans coming here that lie about their ages and most have fake birth certificates just to get there kids in school, and all kinds of stuff. the government over there is so organized that all birth certificates and stuff is recorded especially in the 1960's right. I could buy a birth certificate tomorrow in Africa if I wanted, and have it aged and authenticated by any official for a dime. a lot of Africans don't even know their own birthdays never mind having a birth certificate from 1961...yeah i am sure the computer technology and the archives are accurate...sure. tell that to an idiot, but not me, please.
i wonder if you heard about the trip the man pursuing Obama so much made to Kenya to write a book on him and destroy him? think he didn't try to buy information? this is bull...pure donkey crap
everyone is so full of fear...and you know why it is nothing but crabs in a bucket looking for control, stay where I am.
run, hide, the sky is falling, run. negative, depressive, sad, inferiority complexes, lets hide it from the master, but the master still wins. I wonder if Hariet Tubmann let fear control her? Peace to you, Sister OnTyme!
Metaverse 01-28-2009, 04:12 AM OnTyme, no one- neither you or I can speak about with is a lie or truth without studying and researching. To say anything, for the sake of our emotional affiliations would be a denial of our true intelligence. There is so much information mixed in here, but the core I believe is common sense- or better yet a collective sense, which is seems our people have yet to master.
Harriet Tubman carried a weapon, and would threaten to shoot and kill anyone that slowed her down.
We can speak of Tubman and yet would fail to replicate the actions of this Mother Warrior. Those that you assume speak from fear, more than likely speak from an area of truth you are only just now becoming familiar with.
But let's say for a moment "Obama Bashers" are all wrong for saying these things. Let's say Obama is genuine in his message and truly feels he can change America and the world for that matter for the better. Let's say all the attempts on his life dissipate. The state of the economy repairs and reverses. Jobs are created as planned. Newer and better health care put into place for those that need it. The security of America justified. No more War in Iraq. In doing all that- will the issues of Black America also be fixed?
Tell me then, why are most Blacks in America in support of Obama expecting a change in Black America because we have a Black President?
We fail to realize this. Just as Obama said "this election is not about me, it's about you." Obama was not selected into power to help those who are unable to help themselves. If that were to be the agenda.
Most Blacks in America are unwilling to use their weapons and aim it towards those who are really the ones slowing us down. It has always been, and it will always continue to be- those who run back into massa's house when he calls. It's just like a wicked owner that beats his Cat or Dog, no matter how much he beats that animal it comes back into the house for him to feed it and pet it. And I'm not saying we don't below in this house called America, we belong to any house we claim, but by now we should have become wiser people. The 10 Millions Jews in America didn't give a swastika who became President. But they don't sit waiting for crumbs to drop from massa's table- we do. 10 Millions Jews weld more power in world than over 30 Million?
What did Dave Chappelle say when he played Rick James "They should've never gave you N___ers Money."
They should've never gave Black folks a Black President- especially one that will be used to milk Africa dry of her resources. Africa is the backbone of the world economy- and somehow we still haven't figured out the agenda.

Peace to you, Sister OnTyme!
excuse me but most rural people are not born in hospitals, are you from Africa? do you know that the poor (majority) are not born in hospitals, and take weeks and months if not years to register for birth certificates. do you think that the infrastructure of Africa was so well kept that birth certificates were kept since 1961? for example my best friend from years back told me that he didn't know his birthday, my dad who is not even African, has a birth certificate that is not his birth date, and he is from the Caribbean. I am not looking down on them, but a lot of things that happen in the Caribbean happen in Africa. In the Caribbean you are pulled over by the police take out your wallet, your all good. in the Caribbean, want to buy land that poor people live on? go pay off an official. I would never live in the Carribean if I was broke, no way in hell, if I live there I best have beaucoup money, cause that is how life is there. not just African and the Caribbean, India, Latin America and all other third world countries same thing.
I have traveled a lot...a lot, I know whats up. I told you I was home schooled, do you know what I did my whole life? travel...and trust me if I go to the airport in any third world country and I have a bunch of medicines, and clothes and food for the poor, and they want to try and stop me, I pay them off. You don't even know me, how much I do for the poor, what my life is about or anything but you are quick to judge...I get it. you are wayyy to sensitive, you think I am putting down Africa? no I am not, but there is a way that works in these countries where the system is full of road blocks not so in the third world if you have a few American dollars, nothing is impossible out there. and the dollar goes real far. My mom and dad are going right back to the Carib. when they retire...I am there a lot too. i know what's up...I have worldly street smarts. and when you know how the different countries work then you are well on your way. don't hold other places up to American standards, cause your kidding yourself if you do. to your shame you have romanticized life in the third world....I am a practical down to earth person, and I don't romanticize what is out there. the first time you see half naked little kids running around with mosquito bites they have been scratching, and they have near their entire bodies infected with pus and dirt...you too will get back down from God hood and see the reality of poverty and life, and don't think I am talking down on those precious infants because I too had impetigo that was burning for days, and being gobbled up by ants, and every other little creature you could think off. trust me they were NOT living so good they would turn up their noses at antibiotics...like you proud bunch here.. when you see, a storm blow through and take out half of a village, and fevers burning up the people and deadly insects and mosquitoes and the sun is beating down on your head till you danm near want to die...trust me, you'll know what's up. heck my Grand dad was one of the first one's on our block in Trinidad to have a concrete house, on his sugarcane farm, so guess what my daddy lived in when he was a boy? my granddad was half coolie, so you know what his Indian family did to him? disowned him, called him bastard..cause he was biracial. been there down that...you don't know nothing bout life in the third world. My dad said when he got off the plane from Trinidad he cried tears, and that man never stopped working a day in his life and he shared everything he had. so I have no hate for where I live now , neither the third world but I am not leaving here....
I can't see how you would believe that stringed together faulty bull about Obama's birth certificate.
Zulile 01-29-2009, 04:51 AM excuse me but most rural people are not born in hospitals, are you from Africa? do you know that the poor (majority) are not born in hospitals, and take weeks and months if not years to register for birth certificates. do you think that the infrastructure of Africa was so well kept that birth certificates were kept since 1961? for example my best friend from years back told me that he didn't know his birthday, my dad who is not even African, has a birth certificate that is not his birth date, and he is from the Caribbean. OnTyme, the more you post the more clear you make yourself known about your view of this world. Some see it for what it is.. others.. see what they wanna see(or are taught to see).
Your depictions above are borderline ludicrous. The Caribbean and Africa are miles apart when it comes to kept records and in particular, modern lifestyles (by modern I mean cultural development over the last 300 years). smh. If you had half a clue (which I suspect is being generous) you'd know you are comparing apples and oranges.
I am tempted to go into it a little deeper, the cultural significance of what you are stating, but hey - you say you've been there done that - I only suggest you look a little farther outside of that narrow view. Pull back the euro-held magnifying glass and you'll see a whole different "third world".
no - you dont romanticize what is out there - those things do exist the world over (including where you live) - in one of the most corrupt and abusing nations of the world, collectively ;)
That your historic 'expertise' stems from the bible and your dad is ok - but some education would work wonders.

Mad Skillz 01-29-2009, 05:50 AM If Obama outright gave any Black American cash or infused money quickly into the African American community. He would be roasted. When he slips the cash out into the African American community. Many won't see it. They have been busy playing Black Nationalist. (Separatist)
LOL! Obama would never "give" tax payers money to any African-American organization in the first place. He very well should but would never do so. You are giving him too much credit. However Obama is more than likely to perform an act financial generosity to private white or Jewish entities. Where is the outrage? When the time come for Obama to sign an executive order allotting funds (soft or hard money) to private Jewish organizations such as AIPAC, will you protest and hold him accountable or just peddle the usual spin, double standards and or rationalizations? I suspect it will be the latter.
This is not a Black issue, nor is it just a person of color issue, it is a United States issue. Inequality hurts AAs more than any other minority in this country and continues to infect this society as a whole. Let me call for the antibiotic of truth, accountability and fairness - something you Obama apologist conveniently forgot.
Tell me where is the fairness when a Black president can acknowledge the Jewish and Armenian genocide (which Obama has already done) but fails the acknowledge the African American genocide? Where is the fairness when a Black president can and will allocate public dollars to private white groups or Jewish groups without repudiation but fails to extend that same courtesy to African-Americans? Obama apologist will argue it's unacceptable for Obama raise "Black issues" but completely acceptable cow tow to the establishment.
It's clear to me now there is little contrast between Bush apologist and Obama apologist; right or wrong rationalize all aspects of the presidents manifesto. Flame any and all constructive criticism. Strike down dissenting voices for "the greater good". Nonsense!
Obama could continue the destructive nature of Bush's policies or Amerikkka's destructive statue quo of raw exploitation and you wouldn't lift a finger to demonstrate your contempt. Not one iota. Suddenly Amerikkkan corporations that privatize African countries own water and food supply is a good thing. Dropping bombs on Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan is a good thing. Continuing the insane embargo of Cuba is a good thing. The soon to be war with Iran is a good thing. Allowing the government to spy on you and me is a good thing. Get my drift? Truth of the matter is Obama apologist lost all credibility, zero, when they decided to remain silent on issues they normally would raise hell if the president were anyone other than Obama. Very sad indeed.
People need to look in the mirror and learn what self-respect entails before they go throwing around honorable words such as "Black nationalist" before truly understanding the root context of the word.
Zulile 01-29-2009, 06:05 AM I've been watching this thread develop and take a life of it's own ;) but only a couple members have answered the initial question.
only one member was clear in stating he bashes Obama primarily to prevent Black people from thinking him a Black hero. Props for that honesty!
others were not as forthcoming nor as honest ;) they say they are only speaking against the Presidents outlook - when at the same time the only reason they are so interested is because he is a Black man  they arent talking about "race" yet cannot recognize that the reason they are so interested is because they compelled to as... Black people. what? If you take "race" out of the picture there are far more informed and politically stimulating forums on the web, to talk sincere politics.
For those Obama bashers - please tell me what American president was good to Black people? If it is not about Obama being "Black" - why speak so much on it as if his views are something new?
I mean.. for real, now folks. step back and LOOK at the view of the common folk (me). Obama looks good up there, doesn't he? He represents! he doesn't have to DO anything - attitude plays a huge role in how we move forward, does it not? Role model type stuff. we grew up wanting to be super sport stars because we admired those Black folk who made it before us. we admired them for their skill for getting there - did we know the social political games they had to go through to get that far? no. we loved and admired them still.
bro Keita said a mouthful - but he bashes Obama as part of the system, not as much as the man playing the role. nothing to do with his Blackness, or lack thereof ;)
for the others - is it possible to separate Obama politics from his Blackness?
Zulile 01-29-2009, 06:10 AM Mad Skills
I sincerely enjoy reading your views (check your prop score to confirm ;) ) . Please tell me - what is an Obama "apologist" Is this where we forgive ourselves for supporting him even though he is not politically "pro-Black"? I don't understand the term.
Thanks

then believe whatever you want i really don't care. and i have a clue...and i have plenty of education. and i am not comparing apples and oranges. what are you talking about? huh? modern lifestyles? is that so? the carribean in the last 20 years has developed a whole lot but there is a lot of poverty. and life is actually better in the Carribean economically then Africa unless we are talking Haiti...
you don't know a thing I love how some Africans move here and pretend everything is great back home, sure now that the American green backs are lining their pockets and they can do for their families back home. your ignorance is clear..I guess all these sources are lies huh? NOT...
...how many Africans have electricity? not too many...
http://www.csmonitor.com/2007/1115/p06s01-woaf.html
Fewer than 25 percent of Africans have access to electricity. In Uganda, only 5 percent of the population has access to electricity; in Kenya, 15 percent; in Congo, 6 percent. In oil-rich Nigeria, the energy demands are nearly twice what the country's creaking power plants can produce. It's one of the continent's biggest obstacles to development and a big turnoff for foreign investors.
how many Africans have access to health care? not too many
Average life expectancy is 47 years. Health systems in Africa are weak in part because of poverty, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and a shortage of health-care workers. Many simply do not have access to health care. Approximately 800 African children continue to die everyday because their parents cannot afford to pay for medical services. Without action to strengthen health systems, Africa will not meet the health-related Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
how many children go without birth certificates?
http://www.worldvision.ca/ContentArchives/content-stories/Pages/BirthCertificates.aspx
No Birth Certificate, No Rights
The births of some 48 million children, most of them poor, go unrecorded each year. Children without birth certificates can be denied health care, education, citizenship, and special protection under the law as minors. As adults they can be denied passports, a marriage or driver’s license, and their right to vote or own property.
Barriers to Registration
Some parents are too poor to pay the registration fee. Others don’t understand the need or procedure to obtain birth certificates. For families living in rural areas, travel to the nearest registry office may be too far or unsafe.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/2265387.stm
Corruption in Africa is costing the continent nearly $150bn a year, according to a new report.
The African regional body, the African Union (AU) has drawn up a convention to stamp out malpractices which the study says are hitting the poorest the hardest.
Corruption is illegal everywhere in Africa, but everywhere it is woven deep into the fabric of every day life.
From the bottle of whisky slipped under the counter to speed a traveller's way through customs, to the presidents and ex-presidents living way beyond their declared means, it results in an assumption that no business will ever get done without a present changing hands.
The report before this week's meeting of the African Union in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, makes no attempt to excuse these "gratifications" as part of the culture.
It says that corruption is costing Africa more than $148bn dollars a year, increasing the cost of goods by as much as 20%, deterring investment and holding back development.
Most of the cost, it says, falls on the poor.

 this is too cute. thank you, OnTyme. That you speak of Africa like it's a country and not a continent - thus a little refresher course for you:

50+countries in it, thousands of cultures and languages within it..
I do wish you had thought before you answered. If you had the slightest inkling of what you were saying not only would you understand the magnitude of your misconceptions, but you'd question the depth and breadth of this education of yours, as a Black woman. Comeon, admit it - it's all euro written/taught./based, right? THINK about it. No shame in that. for real. just think for a minute. All this information (and stuff you have linked us to) isnt real. Some might be true, sure - but thats like trying to explain to an ant that my backyard is not the real world. The ants view is narrow, as is yours. While it might seem it is YOUR world, I stress again, all of your input comes from the gardener, not the owner.
lastly, just for fun, modern Africans that travel into the euro west are very aware of the system, which means YOU too, and are happy to exploit it for their personal gains back home. the system is well in effect there too. When you talk about Caribbean vs "African" cultural history over 20 years.. hehehe - blows my mind, but ok. ok. there is simply too much to address here.
Please read some more. that's all I can say. I didnt realize you were still a younign' - so please be selective in your reading and listen to those who object to your theories ;) - there is value in knowing of what you speak, and you can only do that if you know about both sides. You clearly have one side down pat - time to read/learn about the folks you are looking towards, and their true stories.
take care

1. I dont live in the United States ;)
2. the USA has one of the highest rates of physically ill people on the planet.
3. classism (white term for tribalism) is ripe there too.
4. warfare? WS has you so twisted you don't even realize you're the primary target.
Outside of those few things, I don't dislike the USA - I don't know where you got that from. It is an interesting place/culture.

you didn't even address one of the points i made. 25% of ALL AFRICANS WITH NO ELECTRICITY, AND THEY BROKE IT DOWN BY NATION..you didn't even read the links did you? I doubt it...so you really didn't even respond to anything I said. I said nothing to insult any culture in Africa. and I been saying that Africa has hundreds of cultures and languages which why this whole PanAfrican thing is a little confusing to me. Africa, has been under siege for years, at least I want to help the poor, but all you saw was me insulting Africa. whatever.
and if you don't live in the US good...then how can you know so much about it? I don't hear much of your criticism of you own country, I guess yours is above reproach.
so your comparing a war against iraq to tribal slaughter? well do so...to me apples and oranges.
Astrologer4U 01-29-2009, 04:50 PM Where is his mother's passport, where is the stamp of her passing customs into kenya? don't they have that evidence? no? probably cause it is a big lie

Some guy went after Obama in the supreme court about his birth certificate, and Obama filed an injunction to have the case dismissed because he would have been delayed in his inauguration if he had let the thing go to trial. you know how many months litigation takes.

OnTyme - your outrage/horror is unwarranted at the thought of having no electrics - what do you know about the various culture in Africa that have no need or desire for electrics? I can assure you it is more than 25% ;) It is your arrogance/ignorance that shines though. Helping the poor is a noble deed, but please start in your own backyard - surely you understand the importance of that ;)

by the way, from before I wasn't gonna say anything then but HIV testing is 99% accurate again you were making stuff up. just like you accused Obama of being behind the masacres in Isreal...you know lying?
Dear child, I said you cant compare modern Africa with the Caribbean - modern doesn't mean having the latest gadgets  What you have 'proved' is that you cant decipher words and their meanings very well.
I am very aware of my own lack of knowledge - are you? You need to toughen up a little, hon, and dont take things so personally.
That you feel you are 'free' and wrapped up so warmly in the WS cloak, is another issue altogether.

Zulile 01-30-2009, 01:32 AM Where is his mother's passport, where is the stamp of her passing customs into kenya? don't they have that evidence? no? probably cause it is a big lie
I dont know about this passport issue - it was decades ago. I have had about a dozen passports over the last 20 years from 4 nations.. some contained stamps from countries that no longer exist today (heck, one of the passports is from a non existent country today).. But I have never saved expired passports - when you get a new one, the old ones can be returned to you (with holes in them), and I just chucked them out.

your name speaks for itself...typical cliquish behavior of a follower..the girls are circling in cause they want to try to pick on someone?
Not me sorry...they drove out the biracial girl, and everyone who differs in this site...sad...
You have some nerve calling me a follower when you clearly don't know the definition of the word.

In my honest opinion, No.
I can.
But the majority of African Americans won't be able to because he is "the FIRST PUBLICLY-BLACK PRESIDENT".

Astrologer4U 01-30-2009, 01:56 AM Finally, a thread I look totally innocent in. :em2400:
Zulile, I think it is possible to separate Obama politics from his Blackness? If one is being honest with ones self. History shows that it doesn't matter if the president is a Democrat or Republican and now it is going to show us that it doesn't matter weather one is black or white. Even a black mayor can't do anything for black people. Hell, A black policeman can't do anything for black people but help white cops kill more blacks. America has never been about equal rights and with Obama being the president, you better put your money on Obama being the president for a purpose and it ain't to help black people. Black people gone have to help they self. I ain't mad at Obama thought and I don't want to bash him. He is no different from the black man working for another man.

right - but it's not about like or dislike.. Many Black Obama Bashers say they are critiquing his politics, not his role as a Black man in politics. I'm wondering if they can be mutually exclusive.

I agree, Astrologer4U. I don't think Black people are expecting Obama to do something tangible for them - but those Black people that Bash Obama: are they more apt to do so because he is Black and they are resentful of the fact that he isnt standing up to his Blackness? Or are they sincerely just addressing his politics... Did they critique previous Presidents with the same level of passion? For example, reading back on various Black forums there was little Bush bashing going on until Katrina hit. It seems we are happy to Bash Obama's politics before he's even unpacked. So what's different to them, if they claim it's not his Blackness?

"The Caribbean and Africa are miles apart when it comes to kept records and in particular, modern lifestyles (by modern I mean cultural development over the last 300 years)."
..and you want to talk modern infrastructure  apples and oranges.
Regardless, I have no beef with you, OnTyme.
Astrologer4U 01-30-2009, 02:27 AM I agree, Astrologer4U. That professor grif guy meta posted. I dont' think he is bashing Obama, he is just questioning where Obama came from. It is rather interesting how Obama came out of no where. However, the people who talk about and question Obamas blackness, they jsut don't have a clue. They actually think it is going to take a black president to get the some reperations, help them save their homes and more equal oppurtunity for blacks...ain't gonna happen. It is going to take more than a black president to help black people to that extinct. .
Or are they sincerely just addressing his politics... Did they critique previous Presidents with the same level of passion? For example, reading back on various Black forums there was little Bush bashing going on until Katrina hit.
That because the blacks who don't know what they are talking about, they have accepted white presidents without much question. When Katrina hit, they were not really bashing Bush, they were just complaining about Bush.
It seems we are happy to Bash Obama's politics before he's even unpacked. So what's different to them, if they claim it's not his Blackness?

What is different is the hype they are hearing in the media. All this stuff about his birth certificate and all that crap. They are believing the hype. Plus, I think they are suffering from seperation syndrome. If all you know is a white president, then all of a sudden you got a black one. That is a heck of a thing for those who actually want to appear as though they are so much into their politics and they want the best person for the job.
You got the old schooler Obama basher, who are use to a white president.
You got the ones who want to play like they understand politics and the only way they can do that is to pretend that they are not so called racist or bias against the so called "better white" canidate so "let's choose the white one"... For instance 50cent the rapper. He was rooting for Hilary and I don't even think he realized why he was rooting for her, Heck, I don't think he even realized why he said that M and M is the greatest rapper of all time...You get my point right?
Then you got the professor grif types who don't even vote but he still likes to show speak on his skeptism.
The list goes on you know what I mean but what it boils down to is, America is not a free land like people want to believe and that is why black people bash their own people before they can unpack. Black people are just afraid of what a black president means for them. They want it to mean something great but they struggle with what they expect and what they will ultimately get.:happens:
OnTyme 01-30-2009, 02:37 AM right - but it's not about like or dislike.. Many Black Obama Bashers say they are critiquing his politics, not his role as a Black man in politics. I'm wondering if they can be mutually exclusive.
everything i do is an extension of who i am and my blackness...no matter who likes it black or white or not. white people think that his blackness is separate from him...in fact they always say..."it doesn't matter what your race is" blah blah. and then in saying that Obama's blackness is separate from him we are acting just like them white folks..
Let's just say that Obama screws up, and turns out to be worse than even Bush, do you think his color and his politics will be separate then? heck no...
he could set us all back several years. white people will definetly start treating blacks worse, and in they minds they will be thinking I will never give those people a chance again. which is why I really really want him to succeed. fact is, is that when black you are always black first and everything else second because just like that white people will turn on you in a heart beat. and your own black people...worse.

so then confront what i wrote not me, and I wouldn't have to refer to you i would refer to what your feeling contentious about. when people debate they address the facts presented by people not the people. and that is maturity..

Interesting viewpoints! Perhaps Blacks that Bash Obama are doing it to cover their own butts, so if something bad happens they can shake their heads right next to the white guy and say "see? I never liked the guy anyway"
So.. you are of the opinion that Black people who bash Obama and claim it has nothing to do with his race, are acting white. That rings true to me!

LOL i may join them if he disappoints me too much. man that Obama can you believe that idiot...what was he thinking...how could he talk about change we can believe in...danm near going broke? yep you got it in a nutshell, we as black people have been so danm disappointed that who could blame people for bracing themselves and expecting the worse. heck aint some people ready to run already? but the white historians have predicted that he will be the greatest us president ever, and that no other president will ever be loved like he will. so if they are right, all the better for my poor black self trying to make it in a world that doesn't want me.
OnTyme 01-30-2009, 03:08 AM I actually have one more thing to add.
isn't it crazy how america on the brink of disaster is put in the hands of a black man. like I was just thinking like if he fails, what's next...these bastards know they didn't want to lead in such a time as this. and that is why i defend him to the teeth...

:heart:maybe the difference is merely that more Black people are paying more attention to politics since there is a Black man at the helm? when it was white, it was more like "they just doing what they do and gonna be what they are". now it's like "hey! that's one of us up there; let's pay more attention!".
it's not that there is more "bashing" is going on; it's that more of our eyes are watching so we now see more of the "bashing of politics" that others have been doing to other presidents all along.
Metaverse 01-30-2009, 03:39 AM I can't speak for all so-called "Obama Bashers" nor would I claim that title. There are several misunderstandings here that may not be ironed out fully until the Obama fever dies down.
I can tell that most of the people like myself that speak openly about Obama have done so in several threads even before the debates with Hilary. I always questioned the role Obama would play as President, not because of Obama the Man, but the "position" of any President of these United States.
If I were to speak of Obama the Man I would have a different talk. Which is why I said we should celebrate this for what it is, not for what is is not. Obviously Obama comes from genius stock I am correct? I find it humorous in back of my mind that this very site showed such distaste for those who speak about "the occult" when in fact Obama Father (so-called) was a master in the occult. And that information does not come from CNN. Those of you in the know have probably figured that out by now.
I celebrate Obama for reasons that would seem odd for most Blacks. I celebrate him as a good Deceiver to White people. But I speak of Obama the Man now. A Man is who is of Muslim fate who is open to all manners of spiritual power. I've never questioned Black power. What I always question is what we do with it. This is the part I believe is greatly misunderstood, and perhaps because most of us have never experienced our own.
Still. It seems that we are always so quick and willing to forget all that we complain about at a moment's notice. If your electric company raises its rates to a price you can barely afford, and your best friend becomes President of that company, what makes you think your rates will go down? This is my question. I would say, sure- celebrate the fact that your friend has a good job. But to believe your rates will change just because your best friend is President of the company is unrealistic.
Black folks are always asking these silly questions about our liberation and it turns out we are the main culprits. The quick fix is still the same. If having a "Green" party works then do that. If having a Red party works do that. Let's build and control our own Electric companies, thus we don't have to worry about who may or may not be out to trick us.
When a fellow Warrior says to us "Our Enemy is Now President" why is that hard to believe? As if in the wake of life on this planet it has never happened to Black folks- ever.
If I became President of the same system that illegally incarcerates Black Men for profit, I'm not an Enemy to these Men? If I became President of the same system that by design under educates Black youth to give White youth a head start in life, I'm not an Enemy to these children? If I was a President of a system that feeds pregnant Black Women pills that retard their children, tamper with their brain signals and organs- I am not an Enemy of these potential Mothers? If I was a President of a system that was created to weaken the people of Africa and native Earth and strengthen the recessive- I am not an Enemy of these people?
Should my charisma and charm matter at that point? It depends on how you think about millions of Blacks dying every year right here in America even more so than in so-called "3rd world" countries. It truly depends on what area of Black life you focus on. If you are focusing on "hope" naturally you might be focusing on hoping never to see the truth. And I'm not fighting against those who are for Obama, because that would be a natural equation as well. What we deal with however is how we look at our own reality in comparison with the realities "they" try to feed us. Obama's reality does not mirror Black America as a whole.

anAfrican 01-30-2009, 03:58 AM it don't matter what color the face nor what party is in the place: it is still the same political structure created by a "people" that have done nothing but desecrate this planet ever since they were flushed out of the caucasus mountain range after the flood of 5900BC! how has anything they've ever done been of benefit to anyone?
personally, not having a tv or paying much attention to the ongoing dessimation/desecration/poisoning of this planet/environment, i have no basis for forming any sort of opinion about obama-the-man. for that matter, i have about as much basis for forming an opinion about obama-the-politician.

"Any time you throw your weight behind a political party that controls two-thirds of the government, and that party can't keep the promises that it made to you during election time, and you're dumb enough to walk around continuing to identify with that political party, you're not only a chump but you're a traitor to your race" Malcolm X in Detroit April 12, 1964
I've said before we can use this energy to focus on creating our own.
Condi Rice was a hundred times worse than Obama ever was you talk about a sellout, I still can't stand her rat face. and your quote by Malcolm at the end makes no sense to me, how did Obama not keep promises? he hasn't even been in office a year yet.
I may not like what the system represents but the fact is I am here now, and we all have to survive..how do you suggest we survive outside of the system...? pick up gun and shoot our way out? we would be blown away in a heart beat.
but the electricity thing I agree with you , if we could get solar energy, my goodness with all the sun we wouldn't ever need to dig the precious earth for oil, or cut trees for wood, sanitation (sewage system) and access to clean water, I would also work on soil recovery and irrigation so that we could protect the land from famine through agriculture. there was a time when the Nile crescent was some of the most fertile land in all of Africa, not so anymore. I think it could be done again...but as long as we have prejudice against science and learning well we r stuck..
One more thing: Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi wrote the stimulus bill not Obama so he had nothing to do with the birth control thing Presidents don't write bills remember they can only get their party members to write bills (IE...REPERATIONS BILL), Obama vetoed the birthcontrol part of the bill...you should be honest about the facts...come on now.
as for the family planning in Africa, he also had a reason for that, AIDS, Bush blocked funding for these clinics, you know what happens to a pregnant women who cant afford AZT and she has AIDS and is pregnant? her baby is born with aids, if you think it is fair for that child well fine..not me.
it's great you quote Malcolm but Obama hasn't had even 2 weeks to keep his promises, so no one is an enemy. if your going to bash at least be honest.
HODEE 01-30-2009, 07:40 AM LOL!
Thanks Mad Skillz
I hadn't read this quoted material until today.

For black nationalists want a nation, a separate, sovereign nation. This is what runs through and binds together their entire history. When they do not see how they can get it in the United States, they advocate emigrating elsewhere.
Black culture. According to Foner, I have limited myself to the land question and ignored these other possible definitions of "nationality" (his switch to this word, instead of "nationhood," is most revealing, and I will come back to it). He claims that "Draper dismisses out of hand the notion of a separate black culture."
This is simply untrue. I stated my position on this matter on pages 125-131, where I discuss the views of Julius Lester, LeRoi Jones, and Harold Cruse. I cited a statement by LeRoi Jones made in 1962: "The paradox of the Negro experience in America is that it is a separate experience, but inseparable from the complete fabric of American life." Then I added:
Not only is the uniqueness of American Negro culture difficult to define but, wherever and whatever it is, it is still, as Jones persuasively put it, "inseparable from the complete fabric of American life." In any event, culture should not be equated with nation; culture is a far less clearly defined and localized concept than nation. There can be a distinct culture without an independent nation, and an independent nation without a distinct culture. [pp. 127-28]
A real nationalism is based on the relationship of a people to a land. The historic inability of black nationalists in America to solve the land problem gave rise to what I have called a "quasi-nationalism." It has produced substitutes for sovereignty, such as separate, autonomous, all-black Black Studies programs and departments. But however baffling the "land question" may be, authentic black nationalists cannot give up the struggle to find an answer for it, even if some answers take the form of escapism and fantasy.
I don't have to read anyone else’s material to know. I understand BLACK. I understand NATIONLISM. Black nation building and anything else related.
I understand what Marcus was trying to accomplish. What W.E.B. Dubois and Marcus Garvey debated what relates to African American independence in America? I understand how the struggle from these two that were born in the 1800's brings us to date and the struggle that must continue.
The true ( A ) Black Nationalist don’t play on black hope and black fears .
The wanna be nationalist in my mind does.
I grew up when the Panthers were feeding the kids every morning, I followed my older brother because he was a member like many African Americans that were awake to doing something other than asking the police to stop hitting them, brutalizing them and disrespecting the black neighborhoods. See the major problem America had with the panthers is the police became obsolete. We they patrolled the neighborhood. They protected the kids. They formed food drives and clothing drives and gave pride to people. You and I would not be able to say I am black and proud if the leaders all black nationalist even before Garvey didn’t die and struggle for the black man kind. No name dropping. It would only lengthen the thread and post. I don’t care. I don’t have to prove. See I know you know. So from that perspective. We agree.
Mad
I am no apologist for anyone. I almost didn’t get to vote, I was gonna vote for Hillary. Then when Obama won, I am democrat and he automatically had my vote. See I had this lingering that a Blackman, a man of any color in America didn't have a snow balls chance in hell to win. I supported Obama as he headed to the finish not by sending money. I wrote to his web site and said. You are on track, good luck and you do have my vote.
I don’t vote for black, I don’t vote for white I vote because it is there. It is my chance to voice a choice. I never pass that up. Win or loose I ride with it. Now I didn’t say congratulations to Mr. President and out loud to anyone until the morning of January 21, 2009. Because then it was history and in the books. Change…a man of color won and became president. In that I celebrate and support.
I am not gonna tear down those who mean well. I know better. So I say this.
( mine ) Don’t mislead, out of misinformation and garner followers who don’t know. For when it comes time to deliver. There will be no reward to show.
I didn't say he would give it directly to the black organizations. He can't do that. He will like Clinton did. Fair share distribute the wealth to many. My point is some will fall in our hands. Don’t be bust ( not working, stationary ) being negative, looking for a nation builder ( black nationalist ) that don't exist, because there is no more land to have. That is why it ( land ) is always up for sale , grab or conquer.
http://www.nybooks.com/articles/10730
When Malcolm X was still an orthodox black nationalist, he held: "Land is the basis of all independence."
Eyes open and get your share of the drop of CHANGE.
I don’t deal double standards. I deal straight hand. I don't fool u and I don't fool myself. Believe me or not. It doesn't matter when the sun goes down. Right? I help and care more about myself and my black children then your children and if I see u down and out. I help and care about u too. I hold a man to a standard. Stand up and try first then I will support u. Easy and fair. I only deal one way. Straight.
You right Inequality hurts. But it doesn't cripple unless one lay down and say ouch. Go around, thru or over the circumstance. Just keep moving and doing what you can to live your life.
I posted it in a thread a few months ago. It was this European who had everybody’s ear. He said after the freedom of slaves in 1865. " We must find a new source of labor other than the black man. “ So they did.
They brought over from India the Indians. They also brought over the Chinese. ( coolies ) they called them. Look it up on Wikipedia.
Today they have the Mexicans but the plan today is not to give the Black American a break. They can’t stop us we defy reality.
Think over time. On this earth we were not the only one’s who died, were enslaved, suffer etc.
I am concerned with any man that suffers. That is oppressed. Who has it hard. Down and out of luck.
Injustice Anywhere is Injustice Everywhere
Hundreds of thousands all over the world are treated as bad as or actually worse than we have been in the United States in the last thirty years.

The Untouchables
The violence, rape, murders like the one’s in the quote below can be found in many places today around the world.
Do what you can to stop the evil. Speak up, speak out and keep an eye on things. I know you will.
Most of the Dalits are bonded workers and many work in slave-like conditions to pay off debts that were incurred generations ago.[15] The majority of Dalits live in segregation and experience violence, murder, rape and other atrocities to the scale of 110,000 registered cases a year, according to 2005 statistics.[16] Common belief is that these numbers do not approach the real total of crimes committed against Dalits. Many crimes go unreported, and few registered cases ever get to trial.[17]
HODEE 01-30-2009, 08:06 AM No man or woman knows the fabric (stuff ) of another. So why judge?
The mind, heart and character can change.

We Are About Loving, Encouraging, Embracing, Teaching and Building With Black People. No Hate Allowed.
emanuel goodman 01-30-2009, 08:41 AM I can't speak for all so-called "Obama Bashers" nor would I claim that title.

I have a feeling about this for quite some time in regards to Mr barack obama. I have had to look to elders for them to better help me understand this current situation regarding this man mr obama. Two quotes that stuck with me the most was one from mr old soul" He is not a black president. He is a president whom happens to be black" This powerful statement made me overstand well that the skin tone has nothing to do with the spirit than is within. Not saying that mr obama is a bad man, he is just not the black man whom we all hoped he would be, our savior so to speak. Although most of us conscious or not claim we are looking for a savior from our pain on this planet for the limited time that are spirit can reside in this flesh. WE are and we hoped it was him. The other quote was by mr louis farakhan this quote was in regards to his blackness" I hear some say he is not black enough! He is whom he is supposed to be!" Meaning he is a man with some different outlooks on how to generate illusionary profits for an illusionary system. He is not the man whom is going to wake everbody up and reset the world. He did not apply for that job. He apply to be the president of the corporation of the united states whom is owned by the fed reserve. Thier name is right on the money in our face. It is a fed reserve note printed for the united states goverment. The money is a loan to the goverment by the fed reserve. Once you owe me i own u. His main objective is to appeart of fix something that has it base in illusion so his soultions are illlusions as well. The bottom line is this we have him displaying the sign of the baphomet as well as other signs of the occult. We have him mentioning the " one world order we all want" on tape during an interview. WE folks of the "conscious community" are the ones whom dont get it sadly enough. The general population never expected anything out of him but to get thier jobs back and put food one the table. There is no thing wrong with that. IT is time for us in the "conscious community" to stop making him a bad general in a war he never signed up for plain and simple. Hetep
Metaverse 01-30-2009, 11:32 AM Sistah OnTyme, again you miss the point. Malcolm's quote refers to "political parties" - so to clear it up let me ask this.
What if Obama was a Republican?
Because if what "Obama lovers" say is true, surely we would vote the Man into office even if he was a republican right? Because he is Black. Because he is a good orator, because he has clever, witty and intelligence behind his voice. Certainly his political party shouldn't matter much to us right?
Nonsense.
What Malcolm's quote is speaking about is the same Democratic party that Africans in America have followed behind religiously, a party that has NEVER kept their promises to Blacks in America. But they tell us Democrats look out for the small Man, the underclass- the "minority" so naturally this is the party we "select" with our consciousness.
But let's go over this voting process again so that everyone can understand where I am coming from with this.
Your vote has never counted and it never will.
Why would I make such a bold statement?
First of all, the American voting process is fraudulent from it's root. And for those you "Vote or Die" people, you really need to listen up to what is being said here. It's simple science, you won't need your dictionary.
The real ballot slip in America is money. Period. We vote with our dollars. That is our real vote. And if you don't understand this yet, then you really don't know much about American politics.
Those who run for any political office in America, are "selected" from the beginning by financial backers that have a vested interest in seeing this person in higher office. Now. Run back the videos to where Obama wasn't even interested in running for President, and ask yourself what changed within 3-4 years of time.
Why is this process so hard for us to compute? We DO NOT select the politicians that run for office. As a people we do not pick public servants from our local Governments based on their success rating and back those individuals financially. "We" as a people do not entertain that process.
Yet we speak about voting. When our Ancestors fought long and hard for the right to vote, it was done under the assumption that by voting we would have equal rights with Whites. Not an un-natural assumption at all. Especially seeing how angry Whites got because we wanted that right.
Voting someone into office we figured also meant this individual would be loyal to the those that voting him into office. Or that he would at least have to make time to listen to our complaints and see that our complaints are dealt with.
Under some blanket of illusions Blacks in America have always felt that Democrats are the lesser of two evils- so to speak. What no one told our Ancestors at that point, and would still never tell us now- is that as "sovereign" people, we have to right to appoint our own officials into high office to represent us and not anyone they push into our ranks saying- look, this person now represents you. Look up the laws that pertain to Native Americans in America.
The greatest flaw in the America voting system is the secret ballot. Why is it secret? Tell me this. Was anyone turned away for wearing an Obama T-shirt to the polls? No? How about a pin? No? Certainly there was no secret about who Blacks folks were voting for right? And certainly when a Democrat is running their is no secret either right? So why the secret? Because it keeps the collective from recording their own votes. Simple. Thus giving them the power to change the results as they see fit. But don't take my word for it. During the last election between Bush and Kerry, Jesse Jackson found enough votes that would've declared Kerry President. Of course it wouldn't matter who became President Kerry or Bush the agenda would still be the same. The point is, Bush was selected for another term because his job wasn't finished.
There is no need for a secret ballot if people are honest to begin with. But if we took an honest inventory as to why Black people voted for Obama most of the answers have nothing to do with our collective agenda as a people. IF we even have one. The most concrete truth is that most of us voting for him because Whites found him either acceptable or were afraid he would become President. We voted also because he seemed like the most intelligent person for the job. We voted because we felt it was time for a Black Man to run the White house.
These ideas, while nice- at the end of the day have nothing to do with our agenda. An intelligent Murderer is still a Murder. Obama will still have to send troops to War to kill innocent people. His title as President will call for that. And so far, War is the only thing making America any real money. Or have we forgotten what it means to be an American President?
But as you've said Bro. Emanuel Goodman- we need to stop making Obama a bad general in a War he didn't sign up for. I also agree that it is very insulting for us to always think just because a person is shaded the same way we are, that this person is also fighting for our same ideals. This is something we have to get over as a collective. Obama indeed did not sign up for our War. He is is truly an African that is in America. Most native Africans are not fighting this war we speak of either. I know some people already that are heartbroken because of this fact.
Obama-the Man may not even be concerned with 90% of what we discuss on this site in terms of Black liberation etc. Because if you are a true African in America you liberation is simply getting on a plane and going home. In fact, if you are from any country outside America a quick plane ride is your liberation.
And this is why I say, don't celebrate this for what is is not. Obama does not represent Black America as a whole. If we are capable of using our $800-$900 billion a year to fund the American empire, we should be able to delegate at least some of that money towards our own elected officials that can represent us on the larger scale. True politics is always local anyway.
A President cannot stop your children from getting wrongly accused and thrown into jail. He cannot stop your Police Officers for racist activity. There are over 14 cities in America with a wealth of Blacks over 1 million that live there. None of them have improved due to what happens in Washington. Will DC improve because of Obama? They improve based upon what happens in local Government and those Black officials, a handful that actually care about what happens to their people.

I did not miss the point...Malcolm X, was pushing Blacks to leave the Republican party to Join the Democratic party...think about the timing of what he said and thing about which party represented what in the civil rights movement. come on...you are seriously underestimating me, as a sister who isn't just trying to be right.
but you also forget why blacks support democrats. black americans were never democrats, in fact they were republicans since Abe Lincoln. and white southerners were democrats.
LB Johnson said that he had lost the south when he ended segregation and Jim Crow laws. He knew it...and from that day forward Everything WHITE south of Dixie that were always REPUBLICAN and everything black south of dixie was always DEMOCRAT...white southerns HATE democrats because of US black people...
Strum Thurman and the dixiecrats all joined the republican party, and since that time with a two party system who do you think blacks supported...
you are very hard on your people and yet these people are voting for the party which has traditionally did them better. the green party, has no real voice in this nation, not because of People but because of themselves..I refuse to blame my own people like that. any of them...some other dude talking about they should lynch themselves, that is a TOM right there.
I am not even going to talk about this anymore, I love all my black people, not because we agree but cause they are mine and I theirs....some people think being black means throwing on Dashikis and treating everyone else like crap...well not me.
I will edit what your saying and say this, a president can change the police etc. who do you think invented the FBI in the first place? how bout social security? all of these organizations have a top down approach...at the highest level is where change in policy happens.
for example my big beef with the police, is tasering. if policy changed so that police would have to give an account everytime they discharged a taser, they would be doing it less. in some countries cops don't even draw weapons. here where I live, I barely ever hear about cops having to shoot anyone, in England cops don't even carry guns. America is a violent country and it has been that way since the wild wild west crap, and those criminals were white not black.

Metaverse 01-30-2009, 08:04 PM Sistah OnTyme, I respect your insight as well. Especially I honor our Queen Zulile for starting the conversation. Beyond this forum this same topic is being discussed. Believe it or not- this is the most civil discussion surrounding these concepts that I've seen yet. I don't think Obama has the power to unite or divide Black America. So if people are indeed making enemies of their people, whom they should love- over this, then our issues are much broader than what we can express online. It's just a difference of opinion, opinions we should respect regardless of how we feel personally about President Obama.
And with that being said.
Before Obama came into the mix, we've bashed what Obama represents to most African or biracials in America. I've also noticed that those of mixed heritage have either become isolated by a collective or by themselves. They too- also admire and appreciate President Obama, but not because they see him as Black. He belongs to that group we often reject outright.
Daughters of working class Whites, millions of them are salted throughout America, also voted for Obama. Because he represents the children they are now raising. Half Black Half White. They have been rejected by both sides, by their White parents and even by Blacks.
Many of us have openly bashed these relationships, and even the offspring of these relationships. I would say it is wise to question where we really stand on the "black" issue.
We've also openly bashed the idealism that Bill Cosby forged into American consciousness. The well-to-do educated Black Father and educated Black Mother raising children together in unison and order. Many have accused Cosby of being unrealistic. Yet this same manner of unrealism, sits even now within the White House.
Worst of all, we've bashed all of our current leaders and so-called leaders for the same manner of charm, charisma and poetic oration that induces a hypnotic sleep on our people. We've bashed Pastors for this, Rappers, and even Politicians long before we knew a Barack Hussein Obama.
And while it is true, we cannot criticize a Man for a job he has yet to perform- in all honestly what I criticize is the job he is being asked to perform. Obama has already been dubbed a Socialist. Most African societies have been egalitarian in the past. China is Socialist and it is gaining a tremendous amount of power in the US, because this system is failing and it will fall. Some will say it already has.
I would like to know if we fully understand the pros and cons of Socialism, and if Obama is indeed playing a key role in the translation of "the new world order" to the American people where do we all fit within that system?

the black panthers were socialist and look what America did to them...all they wanted was to destroy the class structure and stand for socioeconomic equity. i have been called a socialist many times. I really respect your words this post spoke to me, because yes, a lot of women are raising bi-racial children alone. men too, my brother is one of them he was too black for this white women when she realized who she was with. if anything a women like Obama's mom having a black child in the times he was born and not dumping him in an orphanage like most of those children were in those days is pretty amazing.
I understand why you don't care for Obama it is the system you despise and you see him as part and party of the system. I don't like the system either, but I am also part of the system..we all are if we live in the country. very very few people are off the "matrix"...you have to have a SSN to work, you have to pay taxes, you have to do all that...so I just rationalize it by saying i would rather see a black man in charge than the same old white men over and over. frankly I am scared for Obama...really...there is no guarantee something won't happen to him. did you hear what he told the muslims around the world just the other day? I was just thinking he is going to piss of the Jews, and evangelical republicans and i dont know...

You are not the only one who feels this way. It gets frustrating having to feel as though, in order to be truly conscious, one has to constantly read in beween the lines. Why can't things just be straight forward, honest and simple, we people who just don't know anymore ask. We are all confused, heck, we don't even know how we made it to the planet earth. We have our intellectual ideas, but we still don't really know.

The confusion can so over whelming. It can be and is real. If you take a real look at life. It is scary. This time, is a real moment. It is a decision time. A trying time. A cahllenging time. A growing time. A time of fear. A time of concerns for safety. Real life is scary, look away mometarily, then look back and take it on. You break its strength and uncertainty, in that moment. You might be pleasingly surprised at how small the problem now looks.
But the unknown is the issue. When faces with the unknown, push forward. With faith that GOD is always with us. He stated he would never abandon.
There is a passage. A man was questioning the trials and tribulations he faced. He just didn't know anymore. This man really just didn't know about the uncertainties. One day he was walking on the beach. He said, lord you told me you will see me thru. Why am I all alone? As he walked down the beach he was looking down at his foot prints.
The lord answered, those are not your foot prints, but mine. For I have always been carrying you. ( I paraphrased this, but the content should capture the point )

I love this quote.. it is so true in many respects. I hate when I feel uncertain too. So I weigh the pros and cons and I know I stand to loose something are a portion of the issue or lifes prize's. ( You ask.. what prizes. I might be under the sunshine and win a trip, I might get a promotion I didn't expect, and on and on. What I do is keep pushing and always doing my best.

Now if the bashers take away the strength and portion of this victory that a Black man has been crowned leader of the land that oppressed his people. Then the disrespect has become monumental. Ancestors are trashed, ( a true nationalist would cut his / her throat before doing this… ) efforts of every black slave, man and woman thru the hundreds of years has been given away, because of a simple argument of true blackness and identity. basically Our one and best association, membership, or ability to one of the GANG has been trash... now I don't think that is smart for bashers who may be scared of the uncertainty and haven't looked away from the scary real movie of life long enough to breath and take in the benefits and possibilities of what the situation can do for them, what they do to further their cause and everyone’s life. one thing do if stars die you dont think planets die? our own sun is going to die..Lord have mercy someone tricked us into thinking we were eternal..we are not, perhaps we can attain to eternity.
http://homepage.mac.com/mrlaurie/btcfolder/astro2002webpages/Period%203/stars%20lives.html
When a star's supply of hydrogen runs out, it eventually dies. There are different ways stars die, our sun will probably become a red giant after it dies. The death of a star depends on what type of star it is and the size of the star. The hotter and brighter a star is, the shorter their lives are. Stars are like humans in many ways. Stars will either become a black dwarf, a neutron star or a black hole, depending on the size of a star. Stars live different lengths of time depening on the size. For example, the sun would live for about 10 billion years while a star 20 times bigger than that will only live for 10 million years.
what is funny is that the bible talks about the sun being darkened and the end of days..hmmm...

I am not making fun of my ancestors...in fact you were being facetious to me. you said that the planet doesn't die a total farce. well i said everything dies..including the sun which many people wrongly worship. you said that people of color are reproducing as your reason...and I say that no Indians, and Chinese are not my people and they by far have the largest population, then the latinos, then it is between us and the whites. these same chinese have been kidnapping and smuggling endangered species for years and are behind a lot of the current extinctions of many animals. they are now in the congo stealing resources because of the bastards in power over there. If you want an article about the human rights violations happening there I will be happy to share.
You said Obama is lusting after a position of power, but yet you say we are kings and queens, so basically your saying we are kings and queens without a kingdom and so we have no power. You say America is run by coorperations? not so, if that were true why are they failing economically, why are so many people losing their jobs. why are the automakers begging for money.
the government is run by ego's, by people who deemed themselves Gods who thought they could do anything they wanted to other people and that the principal of sowing what you reap would never return to make a fool of them. these idiots toyed with interest rates, they toyed with the market and manipulated it for personal gain, these idiots continued to destroy the earth and did for the poison they call oil and never once would they invest in solar infrastructure, they wouldn't invest in hybrid and electric engines, they didn't care who died, they turn their backs on countries when millions die within days and pretend to be so humanitarian for places like Kuwait... these idiots were destroying the planet...and then they are now made a fool of. these idiots always make cases about blacks...Remember Regan and his story of the black women in a Cadillac on food stamps. Obama was dragging but all over Chicago helping the poor when most of the things that wrecked us in the long term, were happening. Now he has to do what they wouldn't...he has to get the solar and wind power started, he has to regulate the free market, he has to adjust the inflation rates, he has to do all that, and every step of the way them white men who slapped a Michell Steele on it to shade their hideous racism, are going to be looking to destroy him. I won't be a part of that period.
Now America doesn't want to take the fall so they take a black man and put him at the helm, and you know what that means if he fails right? For all of us? I wish him all the best, he will turn around the economy I am pretty sure of it. and you may not like it since you hate the system, but many that lost jobs, can't get jobs, can't pay for school, have been excluded from socio-economic empowerment would love him.
he was attacked for promoting birth control, but I guess everyone forgets how many kids are in the foster homes being abused and tampered with, everyone forgets how many abortion clinics are making big money off of us black women and white women killing babies, or how many stem-cells from these fetuses are going to research.
this has nothing to do with ancestors...I have respect for their accomplishments, study the lives they once led and that's it what more can I do...nothing, I sure can't worship them, and I can't turn back time.

I don't have to take your word on anything just because you say so.(another missing "neener neener".) you think you know, well go head on then...i believe the future will prove you wrong.ya know, from what i've seen of sister fine, she might even pray that something in the future would/could do that. but one only grows to speaking as she does because one eventually becomes tired of doubting one's self only to be proven too close to "too" right, too many times.
one of the "coolest" things about Being in One's Divine Mind is that One Learns that there is actually something to the notion that "time does not exist" because the All is so Encompassing that there is no future and there is no past; all things always happen all the time in the All: All IS Now.
but i'm sure she'll say it better - or prove that she is, as usual, Wiser than i am and will continue to "gently" add to your Education, while not bothering to mention her reaction to your delivery ...
OnTyme 02-01-2009, 02:12 AM (why do you keep forgetting to add the "neener neener"?)

I realize the significance of I am...I am in him and his word is in me so therefore I am...
and your right time is a mental construct, but it doesn't mean that what you say or do has no impact on the future. if I set a bomb to go of in 10 minutes it is set for the future, it goes off in the present, and the effects caused are the past...
as for me teasing..I am not...teasing anyone. I only give what I get.
and I have read some of the things Many posts of Fine particularly about the so-called corporate run government, as well as things like the Bilderbergs, and I do not agree with her on those issues. I guess she thinks it is okay that Nader called Obama all the things she called him. I do not. That whole Alex Jones Conspiracy theories are not something that I really have a whole lot of trust in, not everything in this world meets the eye. there are a lot of theory's out there some may be true and some false. if the bilderbergers were so powerful than what happened to some of the real members..why isn't Hilary Clinton the president because she is one and has never hid it, why is Bill Richardson kicked out of the Obama administration, he is also one. heck even Vernon Jordan is one. so i have been reading and doing research...I just don't believe people just cause they say so. why should I? people lie all the time, and most do it unintentionally. how many people lie to themselves about themselves never mind the world at large. i have seen enough of people to know never just take anyone's word for anything we are subject to failure..perhaps some of the more divine believe they have never failed but I bet you they have, I sure have. I am a skeptic, and you know what you should consider it a good thing, because in questioning what people assume is a given just because they say so is when they can either change their minds, or further believe what they want to. if the bilderbergers are so top-secret than we shouldn't know anything about it. wikipedia can give you a list of their members, never mind...
I know that these multi-nationals are an entity completely outside of government control, the government can only hope that they will toss a few crumbs their way. if anything multi-nationals were fought tooth and nail by the government because they are single handily juicing the system and getting away Scott free. I know that and I can back it up.
remember the whole UFO alien autopsy stuff they had floating around, and the someone is kidnapping me out of my bed and running test on me in the night madness. these same conspiracy theorists were crying about this years ago now they jumping on the government because they are taking advantage of the personal anger and distrust that people feel towards the government and they making plenty money to boot. there are a whole lot more examples of off the wall theorists that later everyone forgets about, but when you revisit them later, you realize what a lie they were. this is nothing but use of fear and manipulation.
I do have one other point to bring up that i have noticed. people who are disenfranchised often have alternate theories about reality, who wouldn't. It is in effect a way of explaining the disparities one sees in the reality. The problem I am having is that these can be tools of continuing the cycle of disenfranchisement. for example. Obama is bad, the system is the white man, do not seek power, etc. and all these things do is keep people from achieving success. corporations are bad, banking system bad this is bad and that is bad...and we continue to be isolated as a minority. We were the most powerful minority in this country, and thanks to Obama we are, we had the highest number. we do not have the highest number anymore. there are those that have for years tried to dilute our numbers and effects in society. and when we these things help.
and on that note, I wish you a blessed evening.

did you do this bit of humor intentionally? because if no one questioned your divine mind, then Lord only knows where it could end up... if i didn't know better, i'd take this for a joke that one of a Divine Mind would have used to make a particularly witty point.
however, the obvious lack of understanding of what is meant, in this House, by "Divine Mind", (you'll have to do a bit of research), coupled with your capitalizing the "wrapping up my Wisdom and giving it all away"-inspired "lord only knows" strongly suggests that Your's is a Beginning Path, still fueled by the frustration of the falsity of the current alleged, so-called "status quo".
at this stage one is vehemently "arguing" ("parroting" would be more accurate) the "convictions" one has developed, (and sometimes arguing the exact opposite with just as much energy), striving to "prove" the "validity" of the "convictions" one has "grown into all by their own research". one has come to understand that there truly is "something rotten in denmark" and is "fighting" to continue to "believe" in something of one's "convictions". (that is actually rather apt: weren't the vikings danes? didn't they invade the entire planet?)
Divinity is so much larger than the Profane "knowledge" of "religion" that "religion" is, essentially, an Insult to the Divine Mind. "religion" demands/requires that One subjugates One's Divine Mind to something other than Self; this "other" is but a Fabrication designed solely to distract.
if one does not continuously Question One's Mind, One runs the risk of falling into the profane "knowledge" of "religion". yeah, in such an instance, only the "deity[ies]" of that/those fabricated "convictions" would have any clue where your mind is at! "lawdy, lawdy me!" <grin>
and the "witty point" would be "Think! Think! It Ain't Illegal Yet! Think!!".
keep Questioning, Seeker; you [i]will get There! and an early "Welcome Home" to You!
Peace
(that "your" should have been a "their". then it wouldn't look like you are suggesting that my Divine Mind is "TheOne" that all should heed.) (<sigh> guess i better get into the habit of quoting entire posts rather than only the bit i'm replying to.)

you believe that we are not subjugated to anything other than self? well I don't agree. you are subjugated to the laws of nature, you are subjugated this body, you must meet every demand of this body or it will die. you are subjugated to your mate, your subjugated to the laws of society ( you don't break laws do you), every single person is subjugated to something or there are consequences.
I am not religious, don't follow traditional philosophy of religion said it to you over and over. God is like energy, and energy can generate force only to rearrange the particles to create this world. Energy existed long before time, space, or time every existed energy gave of itself and created matter. I am subject to the laws of energy...and that energy had consciousness, far above our own, He moved in the Great deep of subconsciousness and in his consciousness he contemplated light and there was light. and in that light was the light of enlightenment.. for no sun or moon was created at that time, and in that time, I was a part of that enlightenment my conscious soul was with him, he said that we were called and were foreknown long before I ever had a body. He is one with me, his energy "Espiritu" dwelt with me and I with him so I am. Jesus Christ was an embodiment of his Energy, and he was the tear in the fabric of consciousness (rent in the temple) of which I go through for access to the Most High THE Spirit and Father of All Spirits, I don't worship Jesus, I go through him. He is the second Adam, the first Adam failed and lost his access, as so another Adam was sent, on in the Image of the Most High, and through him I enter in. If you don't believe what I believe that is okay with me. I don't care.
I do not believe in this body there is any divine, even Jesus said why do you call me Good Master, he taught us to pray Our Father, because he knew this flesh is not divine. the definition of divinity, I am sorry but I can't call you divine, I have seen ordinary men...of the first Adam.

1.) one thing I know after reading your attempts at humor is that your not funny...and I mean that with all sincerity..your sarcasm and wit could use a little something as well.
2.) you believe you are not subject to anything. go 2 weeks without taking a dump, and then go 3 days without peeing. then levitate in your deep meditation (as I role my eyes and shake head in pity), then defy gravity jump of a cliff where is your faith in your divinity?...next rearrange you particles into a butterfly...CANT DO IT? NO? HOW COME? THAT IS JUST AWFUL, what kind of powerless Deity is that?
All those Egyptian pharaohs still lying in mummy clothes while white people scavenge over their dead bodies. you would think they would do something about it huh? why would the sun of Ra let them do that? oh I get it...you mixed religions cause this is the good part, this is the part when it isn't the afterlife like the Egyptians said so their bodies are fine but reincarnation like the Chinks and Pakis...
how bout any honkey paganism, did you incorporate any of that in your pretend religion?
3.) I can honestly see why the black Nationalists haven't done anything for the cause and rode the back of black Christians...heck no one could take this crap seriously. No one would give you guys a shot fa nothing, No wonder you hate OBAMA your jealous cause people listen to your stuff and do what I have done for days now, and that is laugh my but off. Martin Luther King whom you hate so much did more than any of you will ever do...Even the black muslims did more than this lunacy...Erica Badu only sings nothing else, for all her big hair...completely useless, and James Brown with his relaxer was far more productive.
but delude yourselves, I mean it is the only way to feel accomplished.

TRUTH is the shattered mirrors strewn
