We (from the "GroupThink Project (http://destee.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=290)" assembly) are looking for some person(s) who are skilled in the art of Graphic design. We are looking to make some Destee.com T-Shirts available and we are looking for some help with the design of them.

We are looking for some examples and/or ideas of what some Destee T-Shirts would look like.

We are ALSO looking for someone who has the ability to make/produce T-shirts, Clothes, Merchandise etc... etc... We want to keep this in house if possible!

Sorry I missed you yesterday, I will be there next Thursday, but I want to update you with my report.
The brother I spoke is Mr. Trevor Wright, and he owned his merchandise printing company for 22 years, but took time off to do a real estate project back home in Jamaica. Needless to say he decided to return and reopen his business which he only did 2 weeks ago. It took me some time to locate him because I had an old address and phone number for his business, so I had to tunnel through a network to find him at home.

The bottom line is this:

There is a setup cost per graphic and it depends on how many colors are on the tee shirt.

There is no minimum order

The more colors the higher the price,

The higher quantity, the lower cost per unit

Turn around time is 2 - 3 weeks.

So, before I book time to go and see the merchandise and inspect the material, I thought that I would confirm how many graphics we planned to use, (I'll negotiation the setup costs) and confirm the amount of colors used in them. I can meet with him possibly next wednesday or thursday.

My baby is jumping all over my lap, making computer work kinda hard right now, but I'll check out the meeting info from yesterday and await everyone's reply

Listen, Right now there are about 6 designs that can be used for doing a T-shirt that have been submitted.

I would think that we can use all of them (unless it is outrageously expenses for each design to be uploaded). As far as colors, I think that the T-shirts will only be one color outside of the uploaded images. That is my thought on the subject.

I was approached sometime ago to put my web design skills to use to assist in
the relaunch of Destee's forum and am not sure how much time I can provide but I
can definitely pass along some useful information that will facilitate this
project.

There is a website www.joomla.org that is an open source content management
system. Albeit I have yet to use the software, my due diligence
does suggest that this would be the tool of choice.

I myself have never worked with Joomla but will be launching 2 projects using
the technology and therefore will become quite familiar with the tool in the
foreseeable future.

I just spoke to the silkscreener and I met with the teeshirt manufacturer today as well.

This is not a final quote, that will come tomorrow around 1 p.m. my time, or 2 p.m. your time. What I have is this:

I asked them to quote us for 200 of each design. 1000 shirts in all.

I have a Gildan Color Guide in which I picked out some colors for the different graphics, I can post this if you want into the thread (it will take a little while to upload into photobucket but I can have it done within 1 hour or 2)

Also, I really like the Destee Speak Up and Speak out for a womban's tank top, military green, and I thought a nice sleeveless T-shirt in Black for the men with the first image would look sharp.

This gives us a bit of variety without branching too far out into unknown waters.

Back to the numbers. The tees themselves range about $3-4 / each, and then there will be the silkscreen price. I'm hoping the quote will come back around $12 /each, leaving us the ability to sell them for double that. I still have to factor in shipping costs, but I'm brainstorming on that as well, I want to see what the intentions are behind getting the tee-shirts first.
