With party season arriving and many of us getting ready for family and such, I wanted to share a belief that I hold about New Years Eve.
The secret I discovered is to shape the coming year by DOING something I want more of; participate or create an environment that enhances some ascpect of my energy I wish to increase. In other words, HOW I spend the New Year's Eve actually determines the return on the rest of the year!

Allow me to bend your ear; for most of my youth, New Year's Eve meant going out buying a new dress if I could afford it, or pulling a hot number out of the closet, getting tickets to a party, getting my drink on and dancing the night away to the rhythm of the night. :drink::wine::dance3::drums:
All in all, it would be a long evening, and New Year's Day meant sleeping in.

One year, I got the idea to spend it alone, just me with some of my favorite foods, a few colored pencils, and some books by my favorite authors. Well, my family (who already thinks I'm eccentric) really thought I had stumbled upon crazy this time. I had a peaceful night, and I discovered that I really liked to draw. That year, I received a book called "The Artists Way" and more art supplies came my way. I also had a great year academically, and it was peaceful.

From that time on, I have spent more New Year's Eve's alone, meditating and doing acts of self-care.

Last year I made a HUGE mistake and did not listen to my Spirit! And I paid the price! New Year's 2007, I was guided to stay in town and attend a Jamaican party. Instead I drove into the city, rushed to get to three different parties and in the end felt exhausted rather than satisfied. The highlight was singing a few karaoke songs for a rather uninterested crowd.

Well, I ended up moving to the city in February, something I still pine over :qqb020:, I worked as a karaoke hostess, but I also moved 3 times in 2008! Was that fun? Heck no - I was pregnant during all the transition. The father and I were arguing that night and didn't see one another or reconcile in person, although I did want to see him. I wanted to see him in person to let him know he was going to be a father! Well this year was difficult for both of us and I have actually been more physically exhausted than I ever remember being in my life!

I wonder what the results would be of attending a masquerade party on
New Year's Eve? Or joining a group to meditate at a vortex? Or winning money at the casino (although that could be a little too risque)

It looks as if I may be hostessing a party this year, and that's fine with me, because I'm bringing in money and having fun while doing it. :band:
And as Mistress of Ceremonies I'm going to look so fine even though it's a little bitty pub :10900::em0100:

If not then I have other plans that are low key but inline with creating stability and increasing resources, and of course honoring my ancestors.

What are your plans for New Year's Eve 2008?

Great post Sister Phynx,

Lol@ stumbled upon crazy.

Alas, on New Year’s Eve, I shall either be working or studying for three examinations that I shall be sitting for in early January. Not a very popular decision with my family, but like yourself, they are used to my quirky ways.

The idea of doing a group meditation at a vortex sounds appealing. In the past, I have been invited to attend African spiritual sessions but I did not feel confident enough then to be in the presence of a Loa. I might approach the group and see if my invite is still valid.

If you don’t already plan to do so, may I recommend that you begin any endeavors to do with Ancestors, increasing resources, good health etc on the 27th because of the New Moon. This is a powerful time to communicate with Ancestors or to manifest some sort of positive result.

Actually, if you are willing Sister Phynx, we can try the infamous Abundance check experiment. I am usually leery of anything which has New Age written all over it but this one sounds interesting and worth a shot.

The Abundance check

Surprisingly, you really don't even need to believe that the check will work when you write it. You will however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.

There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a checking account you can draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way - the results will be the same, more abundance for you.

Here´s how to do it:

1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check from your check book. Where it says "Pay to," write your name.
2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write "Paid in full."
3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write "Paid in full." [I find it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]
4.) Sign the check: "The Law of Abundance."

Do not put a date on the check. Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.

Many people are skeptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time they realize the power of these checks and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!

Speaking of things to celebrate in the New Year, how is your little one? This reminds me to share something I read on a Myspace profile;
,
I was the first born of twins, rough birth with my fists up. Was in the incubator with my fists up and the doctor told my mom "this is going to be a STRONG little girl". My grandmother said I had my fists up every morning upon awakening for the first three years of life. Pay attention to children and what the familiarize themselves with...what comes easy, what they pay attention to. These are items that can give you clues about their past life.

Blessings.

New Year's magickal work? Hmm...

I grew up around old school rootworkers since my formative years (ages 0 - 7) were logged in an all-Black community of families that formed a hamlet right after slavery. One of my first teachers (although I was unaware of it at the time) was my granny, an old African woman, who was two generations from slavery herself. She would always say what ever you do on New Year's Eve would set the tone for the rest of the coming year.

On the 27th of Dec, write your desires for the coming year three times on a piece of parchment paper. Place incense charcoal inside a brass incense burner. Sprinkle sandalwood resin on the charcoal and light the charcoal. Set a seven-day candle that inscribed with a symbol of your desires next to the incense burner. Light the candle. Drop the parchment paper on the burning sandalwood and state your intentions to the universe of your desires. Allow the sandalwood to burn out. Once it's burned, pinch out the candle flame. Repeat the parchment process and the ritual for seven days beginning on Dec. 27th.

On New Year's eve, in a corner, place a bowl with fruit, a cup with coffee, a glass of sugar water and a white candle out for your ancestors. Place a piece of bread over the cup with coffee. Talk to your folks and tell them you are leaving them an offering. It would be good to perform a spiritual cleansing before you do so. As you cleanse, envision that you are removing all the astral dirt accumulated from last year, rinsing it away and leaving at the door of 2008 as an offering to the energies of the old year. Also focus on the bath as cleansing you anew for 2009 and allowing room in your field for abundance, positive energy and prosperity to overtake you.

Two days before the New Year, peruse some magazines and take clips of images of things you wish to accomplish, obtain or be for the new year.

Lastly, you visit the crossroads and speak with the guardian there for assistance.

Hope my submission helps....

Another thing is you can also host a party for children in the name of the Marassa. If you do this, make a cake for the Marassa. Make sure you have popcorn with soft candy mixed in between it. Give it with little gift bags to the child attendees. Have the kids make arts and crafts of what they wish for the coming year.

Well, for me, what I usually do for New Year's Eve is "Spring Clean" my house! I would get rid of all old clothes, mail any and all dirt... I would really get on my knees, with a glass of wine and nice music and CLEAN HOUSE! It feels so good to go into the New Year with no clutter, and No mess.. I always try to make sure my bills are paid and that I have money stack in my bank account! I never knew why I did this but it made perfect sense to me.. Take out the Old and make room for New things to come into my life.. i'M GONNA TRY THAT CHECK IN THE MAIL, IT'S VERY INTERESTING.. THANXX! HAVE A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEARS TO ALL

Hello Sister Free2BM

Let me know how you get on with the Abundance check.

I thought I would also recommend that at Sunrise;

Sidebar - make sure it is astronomical Sunrise and not Civilian because there is a difference. If you want a link which calculates this for you, let me know and I shall post it.

Collect a little urine, and together with a few drops of Van Van oil, add to your floor wash. You will most certainly notice a difference in the ambience of your home afterwards.

peace,

Alexandra

Lol, I understand. And yes, that's correct; your urine. Collecting it in silence would be best while you visualise the outcome that you desire.

I'M JUST PLAIN GREEN AT THIS.. SO FORGIVE ME IF I SEEM IGNORANT, CUZ I AM.. LOL

No need to apologise, I am as new to this as you are, so feel free to ask away.

I'VE NEVER HEARD OF VAN VAN OIL, IS A SPECIAL PLACE I CAN PICK IT UP OR WALGREENS WILL DO??

About Van Van oil

"At one time, it is said, a person could not walk down a street in the Algiers district without smelling the scent of Van Van oil. Prepared from aromatic Oriental grasses, all-purpose Van Van is favoured for dressing Amulets and Charms and is reputed to Clear Evil from the Door-Step, Change Bad Luck to Good, and Open the Way to New Opportunities."

Here are examples of where Van Van oil has been used;

To make a man come home: Take nine deep red or pink candles. Write his name three times on each candle. Wash the candles with Van- Van. Put the name three times on paper and place under the candles, and call the name of the party three.

For business success: Get Van-Van, essence of geranium, essence of lavender. Mix them together, sprinkle it in the house.

I can offer a few suggestions, but to be honest you cannot do better than what Brother Blackbird has submitted.

To put it into context using the analogy of a pair of designer shoes, namely Gucci;

Say you wanted to get a pair of Gucci shoes and had two people you could go to; Blackbird or Alexandra. Now what if you know the following;

Blackbird has Gucci’s direct telephone number, and by virtue of being members in the same forum, will once in a while give out free , genuine, one of a kind, custom made Gucci shoes.

I on the other hand, know all the best Chinese designer imitation sellers on the block. And depending on which way the wind is blowing, I can get you a pair that says Gucci with one C, or ones where the G faces the other way. You can still wear the shoes (comfort not guaranteed), and no one will notice they are knockoffs.

Which would you rather have? Lol.

All the materials required can be bought from the LuckyMojo store, and I recall Brother Blackbird once gave instructions for really good coconut spiritual bath to be done ideally on a Wednesday. The New Moon just so happens to fall on a Wednesday, so its perfect.

Blessings,

Alexandra

When I was in High School a female I was dating at the time introduced me to the concept of "whatever you're doing on New Year's Eve you'll be doing for the rest of the year" and I really thought she was out of her mind. She insisted that we spent time together when the magic ball in NYC descended from the heavens. Figuring that this magic would keep us together during the year. It didn't.

I think for people like myself, our thoughts have a huge impact on our reality, so it's not actually what we are doing as far as ritual, but what we are thinking about. Some us have stronger mental power than any physical activity can produce. So while we were together and in love as 12 am came around, my mind was elsewhere. Still, I was fascinated with the concept and wouldn't realize how powerful my mind was over the actual ritual until many years later.

I believe the force that rules over New Years Eve is actual the collective subconscious, because it's not really the first of anything cosmically, but it's already a ritual of a new beginning for everyone on planet earth. Interestedly enough, it is also a time when allot of debt is forgiven, when forgiveness is offered on a subconscious level to those that owe us or have done something to us during the year. We simple say "that was last year" in the past. That factor makes this time very powerful. But here's a little tidbit as to why "New Year's Eve" is celebrated on Time Square. Time's Square is not a square at all, it's a triangle.

Just above Times Square on Broadway is Duffy Square. Duffy Square is a triangle. Just below Times Square on Broadway is Herald Square. Herald Square is a triangle. Below Herald Square on Broadway is Greeley Square. You guessed it, Greeley Square is a triangle.

See the Black triangle?

http://timessquarenyc.org/media/images/NYE07Verticle.jpg

And the magic ball is usually composed of triangles.

http://msnbcmedia4.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/051230/051230_newyearsball_vlrg.widec.jpg

So while we might play around with New Years Eve, oh well- it doesn't matter what I'm doing or thinking at that time...the Ruling "Overclass" isn't playing. The triangle is most basic magikal component to instruct energy in people thru a vortex. Times Square is also a media/advertising mecca.
If you can get your company info somewhere on Times Square for News Years, trust me- you will be very very successful during the year.

Design your rituals very commonsensefully. Remember that "thinking" is also "doing" so what you are doing is just as important as what you are thinking.

As for me- when the ball drops-I usually spend my time meditating with the Ancestors, laughing at their jokes -naked and counting a pile money with my Queen saying over and over to each other, we always find a solution to our problems. Surrounded by a big feast of food!

This year I might try using the triangle technique too.

I second that Sis Phynxofkmt

Those triangles are something else, right. I have wondered about the square in times square bc the only thing i see square are the HUGE billboards. (so, putting your biz in visual at times square means success? I can see Sean Combs face right now and Lil Wayne right off top bc they are in full body there at the "square") But I keep going back to the triangles. Can you imagine? ALL that energy in one place at New Years eve in Times Square, with all of those vortexes. This reminds me, I had an issue when I was a kid. I used to draw triangles everywhere. All over my notebooks, binders, homework. Everythign. I thought it was strange or "too Much" so i worked at stopping myself from doing it so people wouldn't htink i was crzy or messy.

Sister Phynx say it ain't so!! While I can and do empathize, I have to confess that I was secretly pleased when I read about the harmonious relationship between you and your Significant Other a while back in different thread.

By pleased I mean this; recall back to Metasaience’s post where the Brother writes;

...naked and counting a pile money with my Queen saying over and over to each other, we always find a solution to our problems. Surrounded by a big feast of food!

This is a fantastic illustration of the male and female energy merging in agreement to manifest a desire because the male energy is about ‘thinking’, while the female energy is about ‘creating’.

Now it is said that a pregnant woman’s prayers are much more potent than a woman who is not; so I figured that being a new Mom as well as a spiritually strong Black Sister, the coming year would be especially fruitful for you, if you agreed on something with your SO.

Having said all that, I admire your strength. One would be hard pressed to find a woman who would choose her peace of mind over a man at this time of the year.

Ps – I wonder if you would be interested in joining an online networking support group for Black Women only? Discussions range from politics to motherhood. Let me know and I shall invite you.

Best wishes,

Alexandra

to say that is my truth. And what you write about the power between us, is exactly what I was looking forward to, uniting 2 very strong will powers & energies to weave a new year of strength in our family. Unfortunately, we crossed boundaries that have augmented our relation - ship permanently. I feel embaressed more than anything, really red in the cheeks. For telling people we were doing so well, for not making it through my son's first year, and the list goes on. But I'll let that feeling go and focus on acceptance.
I'll remember to allow my inner light guide me, for it shall never forsake me.

I would be very interested in exploring the support group, you can PM me if you like. Thank you in advance Alexandra.

By the way, I have a Dad who is very loyal to his children, his heart is filled with kindness for others, especially his family, so I feel protected and taken care of. I do not walk alone in this world, I am blessed even through turbulence. Doesn't mean I don't shed tears, it just means that there's often someone who cares to dry them for me.

While it is very powerful when a Man and Woman can come together as 2 bodies blending together as one mind- ie, sex magick will be very important on New Years Eve- still if you are single it's a time for some life altering rituals.

The majority of people at Times Square are usually single people waiting to kiss that one stranger when the ball drops. I was also tongued down by some drunk White Woman one year, and drenched in beer another year. What you don't want to be during this time is sad, depressed or miserable. If you have too, do something bizarre that would alter your destiny. Even if that means cooking up a big meal and feeding the homeless. Converting 100 dollars into singles and passing out a dollar to every person you see. Or taking a cab ride in only a trench coat and flashing people as your ride pass them.

Sound nuts, but these are rituals that disturb the leylines of destiny. Some people go to church, some people go skinny dipping, and some people call that one person they've been putting off calling all year -offering a voice of forgiveness. If there is any life that you can change, do so before 12am. Even if it means dressing up in your best outfit and going out to a place you would never go. Do so. The good thing about being single is that you can do something so outrageous without witnesses to judge you.

Remember to clean out the house, sweep out the old welcome the new, throw or give away items you aren't using and may never use, redecorate, rearrange, reorganize - add something new to the room you live in the most.

Sister P, I second what Sis. 4EverLuv has written. In addition, I shall PM you shortly about joining the group and look forward to sharing this sacred space with you.

Aight MetaS, with regard to sex magick, single sisters will not be left behind.

Here is what I propose that we do; Think of something that you desire; write it down on virgin parchment paper using red ink pen (the pen must be brand new, never been used before and preferably sealed in a package). Self pleasure to the point of climax (before 12am as per Meta's post) and at the point of climax, visualise the desire to be already accomplished, thus manifesting it. It always helps to smear some of the fluids on the paper and setting it on fire; but this is not necessary.

Peace!

Alexandra

[/quote]

Cuz I've never ever made love on NY's eve! Many years I don't even get a kiss! :toasts::flirt:
I am curious Bro Science, if one was to do something "bizarre" could it not make the outcome quite unpredictable?

Thank you sisters for your words of support. I wonder if I focus on Raphael Saadiq's photo long enough if I can find my way into his studio - maybe steal him away from Joss Stone too! :SuN049::SuN011:

Queen Phynxofkmt- the Warrior Teacher that would give us more information into that is no longer with us. I speak of Bro. Darkside. The "bizarre" really goes into chaos magic, doing the unthinkable to offset the energy you have been receiving for previous years. Doing the bizarre would create unpredictable situations sure enough, but situations in your favor.

It's clear that New Years Eve is a time for propitiation.

When I started studying metaphysics in nyc, I also took a few classes downtown and our instructor was always telling us to do strange and bizarre things, but never to tell anyone about them. She said it should be between us and our guides/spirits. But naturally sometimes, people would share their strange rituals, even I would call them strange because I wasn't into that level of metaphysics at that time.

One Brotha I heard about, went to a copyshop made like 2,00 flyers- and get this, with the words "(his name) is one rich motherf---er." And then one night he went on the train at the very last stop when no one was on it and put his flyers out on every seat. At that time, this was one of the craziest things I had ever heard of in my life. I remember laughing all day long just thinking about that one. But guess what, looking back I can't recall this Brotha ever being in need of money.

So, understanding what we know now about ritual, the psychic mind- and look at Time Square with all those ads all over the place? These companies are channeling some major power, on top of that the entire world is fixated on Times Square via Television!

Sex is a major part of the magic too. Sex with strangers is a traditional norm especially for White folks during that time. Prostitutes are very busy that night and drug dealers. For most people, it just boils down to a magical kiss.
Even FoxNews is up on that one.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,318625,00.html

Another good act for couples and singles during New Years Eve is a spiritual bath. And if you're single giving a spiritual bath or taking one with a new person in your life is powerful too. Single Brothas could get more action from that one, taking a bath together is a great metasexual act. And as White folks have learned, the more people in the pool, the more power the "mastermind" can extract from it.

Offsetting the matrix is what we should all be doing via chaos magick......

We all wake up everyday "KNOWING" what to do.......take a shower. drive to work. be at work. come home from work..get on the internet...yaddi yaddi....Our lives become a routine.....

Doing the unpredictable (chaos)....."rattles the cages" per se.....

But don't forget the icing on the cake....once you do the unthinkable you have to steer attention to where you want it.....It's like basketball..

Many players are dumfounded when the ball is stolen from them (bringing chaos to the playbook)

But you as the stealer wouldn't just steal the ball and stand there.....you run it back to your GOAL!!!

But doing a ritual in a big metropolitan city isn't the only way to work your magic on New Years....many people do rituals at night because that's when everyone else (and possibly there enemies) are sleeping.......I wouldn't say it's because of the sleeping part but sleeping signifies that your mind is detached from the "physical everyday realm"...

We can say the same for the holidays...Im sure you all feel it now due to christmas.......during holidays we are detached from the "physical everyday life"......all our worries thrown out the window for those twenty four hours.......so while everyone else is out partying......getting intoxicated(detaching from everyday life)....you could be in the house...in darkness....http://www.thedarkpsyde.com/images/Meditation.jpg

MEDITATING.....that could be a form of chaos in it's own.....With everyone else out partying the matrix is wondering why the heck aren't YOU out partying.....

Or even better...instead of sitting in your room seperate from the ground......seperate your self from the crowd by standing above it...If you live in a big metro area...find you a nice view...standing above the crowd and wish your mantras over them
You thought the elite get skyboxes for the view??

THEY ON THEIR MAGICK....AS WELL SHOULD YOU! HAPPY "X"-MAS

hmmm. that's great to think about.
You know, I have been known to throw chaos in my day for no reason. I never had a secret for doing it. I just thought/think in my mind that sometimes you have to do something different to shake things up. I don't mean anything really big that I've done, but little things like taking a different route home out of the blue. Going to a restaurant that I have never been to before. (haven't done that in a while) Even changing my routine in the morning. I don't know about some, but I basically do the same thing in the mornings, esp. when my fingers touch the computer. So, I switch it up as if someone's is keeping tabs on me better than myself sometimes. Making moves like DeepThroat sometimes. (the informant)

Sis PhynxofKmt- What great advice you are getting?! (smile) If you haven't felt it yet, you have plenty of good vibes coming your way so all I can say is open up and receive. Happy New Year to youuuuuu!!!!!! and everybody else too. ;-)

Lol, I know right?! For me it's Avant. *waits for someone to claim Avant is gay*

You know Sister P, I have always wanted to ask you. Do you like living in Canada? I have heard varying accounts from Black people but on the whole, it is apparently a pretty ok place to live.

I was reading about the chief features of the isolation regime in China which are the same as those of the Soviet Union;
1. Total isolation
2. Utter boredom
3. Anxiety
4. Uncertainty
5. Fatigue
6. Lack of sleep
7. Rejection
8. Hostile treatement
9. Intolerable pressure

And as I read the list, it struck me that this is what life is like in the UK for your average Black African person (maybe Sister's SM'aat and SoulP can confirm/deny this). Is it this dire in Canada?

Peace,

Alexandra

Another thing is you can also host a party for children in the name of the Marassa. If you do this, make a cake for the Marassa. Make sure you have popcorn with soft candy mixed in between it. Give it with little gift bags to the child attendees. Have the kids make arts and crafts of what they wish for the coming year.

Blackbird

Thank you so much for your suggestions Blackbird, may I ask what the significance of the Marassa is with this New Moon?

Well, Dmagick, I keep bumping because this thread is being deliberately (quite predictably too I might add) bumped down. It’s a hilarious, if not sad tactic; because this is one of those instances where even when they think have won..they have actually lost. I will therefore keep doing this until the1st.

Lol. Thanks Awo Dino.

Rare New Year's Eve 'blue moon' to ring in 2010

By ALICIA CHANG, AP Science Writer Alicia Chang, Ap Science Writer – Tue Dec 29, 7:03 pm ET
LOS ANGELES – Once in a blue moon there is one on New Year's Eve. Revelers ringing in 2010 will be treated to a so-called blue moon. According to popular definition, a blue moon is the second full moon in a month. But don't expect it to be blue — the name has nothing to do with the color of our closest celestial neighbor.

A full moon occurred on Dec. 2. It will appear again on Thursday in time for the New Year's countdown.

"If you're in Times Square, you'll see the full moon right above you. It's going to be that brilliant," said Jack Horkheimer, director emeritus of the Miami Space Transit Planetarium and host of a weekly astronomy TV show.

The New Year's Eve blue moon will be visible in the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and Africa. For partygoers in Australia and Asia, the full moon does not show up until New Year's Day, making January a blue moon month for them.

However, the Eastern Hemisphere can celebrate with a partial lunar eclipse on New Year's Eve when part of the moon enters the Earth's shadow. The eclipse will not be visible in the Americas.

A full moon occurs every 29.5 days, and most years have 12. On average, an extra full moon in a month — a blue moon — occurs every 2.5 years. The last time there was a lunar double take was in May 2007. New Year's Eve blue moons are rarer, occurring every 19 years. The last time was in 1990; the next one won't come again until 2028.

Blue moons have no astronomical significance, said Greg Laughlin, an astronomer at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

"`Blue moon' is just a name in the same sense as a `hunter's moon' or a `harvest moon,'" Laughlin said in an e-mail.

The popular definition of blue moon came about after a writer for Sky & Telescope magazine in 1946 misinterpreted the Maine Farmer's Almanac and labeled a blue moon as the second full moon in a month. In fact, the almanac defined a blue moon as the third full moon in a season with four full moons, not the usual three.

Though Sky & Telescope corrected the error decades later, the definition caught on. For purists, however, this New Year's Eve full moon doesn't even qualify as a blue moon. It's just the first full moon of the winter season.

In a tongue-in-cheek essay posted on the magazine's Web site this week, senior contributing editor Kelly Beatty wrote: "If skies are clear when I'm out celebrating, I'll take a peek at that brilliant orb as it rises over the Boston skyline to see if it's an icy shade of blue. Or maybe I'll just howl."

I saw this article today. Anyways during Oct. to Feb. I don' sleep during normal hours. I am sleepy between 6am and 6pm during this time of the year. My New Year's have also always been a drag since going into 2004. I wanted to ask if anybody had any bath receipes that did not involve herbs. I have no money at this point in my life :bus: so all I have is house hold items and kitchen seasoning.

For example, I got this from a Bobby Hemmitt blogtalk episode. I can do this because I have these items:

Spiritual bath: 3 caps of ammonia, 3 caps of bleach, 3 caps of apple cider vinegar, 3 caps of lemon juice, ½ cup of sea salt, 1 white candle

1)Light candle
2)Sit in bath a minimum for 15 minutes and imagine your aura (white) extending from you. Clear your mind of negative thoughts
3)Take whole body including head up under water
4)Shower off good
5)Take some of the wax from candle and wrap it in plastic or cloth and wear it on you (Is this like a mojo bag????)

Bobby said you can do this every 2 months. It is good for prosperity, cleaning your aura, getting rid of negative energies.

Any suggesstions for New Year's work not involving pure herbs that I can do to make 2010 better:witch:

What do you have in your kitchen pantry? I am sure we can work with the contents but a very effective cleanser (and indeed offering 9(if that's part of your ritual) is a plain egg, which has been kept in the fridge for a while (when its cold, it absorbs negative energy better) and ofcourse there is sex magick which is free and very potent.

Ps-If you ever work with an entity or Diety, they will tell you that all these accessories i.e herbs, incense etc are not that material, but rather it is your intent which matters (it must be pure and genuine).

Best wishes,

A

MANY ENTITIES LIKE THE SCENT OF THE INCENSE AS IT CONTAIN THE 4 ELEMENTS OF NATURE, BUT LIKE YOU SAID THEY ARE NOT REALLY NEEDED , THE HERBS, INCENSES AND SUCH ARE AS A BATTERY OR AMPLIFIER OF YOUR OWN ENERGY.

If you didn't already know..

BLUE MOON ON NEW YEAR'S EVE

Believe it or not, tonight's full Moon is a "Blue Moon." It's the second full Moon this month and the first Blue Moon to fall on New Year's Eve in nearly 20 years. Sounds like a rare excuse for a party...

http://spaceweather.com/swpod2009/31dec09/John-Stetson1_strip.jpg

There's more. In Europe, Africa and Asia, the Blue Moon will dip into Earth's shadow for a partial lunar eclipse. At maximum eclipse, around 19:24 Universal Time, approximately 8% of the Moon will be darkly shadowed: animated preview.

Blue Moons are rare (once every 2.5 years). Blue Moons on New Year's Eve are rarer still (once every 19 years). How rare is a lunar eclipse of a Blue Moon on New Year's Eve?

A search of NASA's Five Millennium Catalogue of Lunar Eclipses provides an approximate answer. In the next 1000 years, Blue Moons on New Year's Eve will be eclipsed only 11 times (once every 91 years). A year of special note is 2848 when there will be two lunar eclipses in December--on Dec. 1st and Dec. 31st. Such a double-Blue Moon-lunar eclipse ending on New Year's Eve appears to be a millennium-level event. That's rare

I have nutmeg, cayenne, curry powder, some spice blends that include rosemary and majoram, cinnamon. I have eculyptus oil, rosemary oil, geranium oil, jojaba, sweet almond, and prim rose oil. I also have catnip and damiana tea leaves.

So a cold egg is good for drawing out negative energies. Could you elaborate on that a little more. Will aura cleaning work help repair damage to my astral body??

I REMEMBER THAT....He told me that formula during that blogtalk radio show in response to my sharing with him the work I do on a daily! I also recall and am still a bit pained by his reference to us "Do-gooders"...which he said in jest!

I did not keep the ritual up yet am sure I still have the ingredients.
