View Full Version : Black Poetry : These are the tears of a clown

At a lost
Expressed in my breath
Short it seems to me
Each moment
As its worth
Without you
That’s little consolation you see
For without you
There is no me
An empty shell
An echo of what use to be
My tormented soul
That cries out for you
Fills my head with
Optical illusions of you
could I ever shake this?
Start all over and remake this
Happiness is incomplete
Laughter is void of sound
I now understand what Smokey said..
For these are the tears of a clown

From each ripplett of tear
stand a void of love leakin
yet to revisit but togetherness
rejoice a new
yes tears of a clown can be seen

This was a great write well felt

Thank you Rich, I love how you reciprocate this flow. These are indeed the tears of a clown....when there is no one around

From each ripplett of tear
stand a void of love leakin
yet to revisit but togetherness
rejoice a new
yes tears of a clown can be seen

Today was like no other
for today I experienced
my first good cry
Not out of pain or sorrow
but silently
my soul empties out
and a sigh of relief
I'm looking for you
melting like an ice cube
without you
I have accepted my fate
yes I have
no more time to wrestle myself
in the lost of you
found my pride today
love
some how prompted me
to throw it away

Welcome to Destee :spinstar:LadyBelle:spinstar:

I enjoyed reading this flow

Sometimes it hurts
Sometimes the pain feels good
Most of the time it leaves you empty

Feeling
Feeling like :kick: abused
Feeling like :insane:
But like you said shedding many :SuN015: tears

One who gives love isn't the fool
The One who lost or refuses love is
