So much temptation
But I can't ever be sidetracked
For all eyes on me

Looking beyond today
I choose to be an example
I set the bar high

i walk a straight line.
i tread, oh so gently, thru
the ruins of my past.

Integrity rules
I must walk the walk I talk
eyes on me or not

Afterlife depends
upon existence on earth
Heaven’s gate I’m bound

necessary. discipline
grows a strength in me.

requires i do right always
For heavens at stake

My little one eyes
Are the only eyes that count
best mom I can be

can't tell young ones: "do
as i say, not as i do!"--
then live out a lie!

little ones do see,
then follow suit. always lead
by your example.

I strive to be good
set an example to all
be a great leader

set an example,
so yours will be the shoes all
can attempt to fill.

I have fashioned my shoes
After those who trod this path before.
My back aches, eyes sting,

And my brow is sweaty,
But I live their dream.

Parental guidance
Important to rear a child
success can be reached

Overindulgence
Spare the rod spoil the child
Balance is the key

The fable rings true
What monkey sees monkey do
watch your deeds

They may stray sometimes
but what you instill in them
guides them back safely

Not an easy job
a mom model, but rewards
