THE MUMMY OF JESUS CHRIST
By Andre Austin

When Jesus was born he was given three gifts from Mithraic priests called Magi. The gifts were Gold frankincense and myrrh. The last two I knew could be used for embalming bodies but I had no idea where the gold came into the picture until I read Diodorus. Diodorus reported in his Library of History that “a hollow statue of gold and when the corpse has been put into this they pour glass over the statue…gold resemble the deceased”.

After Jesus death: “Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about 75 pounds. Taking Jesus body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish (Egyptian) burial customs”. (John 19:39-40). This is a vivid picture of Jesus looking like a Mummy. My only question is why did it take 40 days for this body to get to heaven? Can you imagine a mummy going to heaven?

Jesus body was put into a ossuary stone coffin box with other family members who had died. Ossuaries were for bodies dead at least a year so the notion that Jesus body went to heaven is out the window. The Christian Advent has 28 days because they knew Osiris had 28 stalks of wheat growing out of his coffin. Wheat was associated with regeneration/resurrection. The ascension day in Egypt takes 40 days for the mummy to dehydrate likewise Jesus ascension to heaven 40 days after resurrection. According to Acts 1:3-12, Jesus' ascension took place at Mount Olivet, forty days after Easter in his spiritual not bodily resurrection went to heaven. The Essence didn’t believe in the body going to heaven just the spirit. Before Jesus died Mary got some expensive spikenard to anoint Jesus body and feet before and after he died. The nard cost 300 silver denarii coins; about a years worth of wages in Rome (Mark 14:3-8/John 12:4-5).

When Jacob (Israel) was mummified “taking a full forty days, for that was the time required for embalming. And the Egyptians mourned for him seventy days” (Genesis 50:3). We have an extra 30 days. Because Herodotus in his Histories reports “the body is placed in natrum for seventy days”. Bob Brier reports the other 30 days were for rituals. (Egyptian Mummies p.55). Jacob is a guide and precedent for understanding why it took forty days to Jesus to get to heaven was due to his local funeral parlor not being done with his body. I can’t imagine a body that drunk wine and vinegar mixed with a poisonous hyssop plant was in any condition to revive its nerves with all that embalming fluid and blood drained went to heaven. His Ossuary stone coffin box begs us not to put in credence into a body going up a yonder. His spirit made it up to the heavenly gates but his body had no need or ability to get up there. Jesus going around talking after he was killed for 40 days is pure fiction. Dead men don’t talk. They never did and never will.

This is not Biblically accurate. It is part of the distortion applied to the birth of Jesus and represented in plays.

The "Wise Men" who traveled to Jesus did not arrive at his birth.

The Bible does not give the exact age of Jesus at that time; but he is referred to as a "young child."----not a "baby."

Matthew 2:[7] Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
[8] And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

[12] And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
[13] And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
[14] When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
[15] And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
[16] Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
